Playstation Tablet 1,728
This will make Lockhart 400. Fuck that for w 4tflop system with no disc drive. If disc PS5 isn't 500 Sony fucked up.
Remij 4,683
Eh, could be a fake out. Nothing is set in stone until they announce it. $600 though...

Yeah agreed. $600 leaves way too much room for Sony to undercut them... and they simply cannot afford to have Sony have the lower priced console.. not now... and not before either. jehurey 3,238
The thing is that the Pringles contest giveaway has to give accurate pricing on the product that they are giving away. So that's what people calculated when they read the rules in fine print, and saw the total amount of products they would give away and what their overall value for the contest giveaway would be, and they simply calculated backwards. So unless their giveaway is included something else besides the console hardware that would be inside an XBox Series X box, the calculation is most likely accurate. Playstation Tablet 1,728
I don't think Lockhart being cheap is a viable substitute for an expensive X. A lot of people will call it as a hard pack model that it is.
Playstation Tablet 1,728
Also with such a high price Halo must really really bad bad at the moment for them to delay it. Like 6/10 level bad. Edited September 6, 2020 by Team 2019
Remij 4,683
MS's console is not only facing competition from Sony, but as well as a $499 RTX 3070. Many people are undoubtedly contemplating upgrading their PC vs buying a console... At $600 for the console.. a $500 GPU that is faster than a 2080ti and with the features Nvidia is bringing is.. compelling to say the least.. considering they play the same games lol. And Lockhart is facing competition from gaming laptops. I'd be looking into a gaming laptop personally instead. Though I'd prefer they stop playing console wars and just release on PS5 at this point. bhytre 2,753
I wouldn't mind if the games and graphics were actually there, same for PS5 Poverty consoles and graphics need to fuck off
Playstation Tablet 1,728
I still think theyll still be the same price. Theyll be forced to price match each other, if MS thinks they can go 100 more than PS5 they are insane. 500 for both imo.
The Mother Fucker 26
This should surprise none of you. Put your early 2010s, late 2000s nostalgia price launch goggles away and welcome to 2020.

You forget, to go with that 3070 you need a $200 CPU, $150 PSU, $150 motherboard, $70 16GB RAM CL16 3200, $100 1TB SSD NVME, and $70-100 mATX-ATX case. $740 right there, and the $499 GPU and you are at about $1240. Spent versus the $600 Xbox Series X / PS5.

Making a comparison between that and the new consoles is silly.

Playstation Tablet 1,728
PC is definitely competing with Series X even if price ranges are different.

I specifically said users contemplating UPGRADING their PC vs buying a new console... may choose to simply upgrade their GPU at $500 instead of buying an Xbox Series X at $600...
