Well, there it is.  12M in ~2 weeks.  Obviously the SteamSpy numbers are way off then... probably just from the sheer amount of people that were playing and reviewing it so quickly.

 

PC version is still at the top of the Steam charts despite there being 2 different sales going on.  JRPG sale, and Capcom Publisher sale.

 

Game should easily be over 20M by the end of 2022.  Still crazy numbers.

Good to have official figures and still spectacular numbers even if lower than some of the other estimated figures.

Steam spy numbers are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off. Glad we can finally put that as a metric to bed.

Yeah they were.  But I think in this case they were WAY off because of the disproportionately large amount of people who were using negative reviews to get FROMs attention to fix them.

 

Basically way more people than normal left reviews for this game.. so it fucked the algorithm.
