I can't take these guys seriously as "rugged, dangerous men". Because they both look like their 23 and 26 year old guys who just got out of college. Even though both Gosling and Evans are 41 years old. I think they purposely try to make themselves look uglier, so that they can look more "lived". Same with Jake Gyllenhal, only recently am I starting to take him more seriously. This is what Hugh Jackman looked like at age 38: He has never looked like a young guy.
