I'll personally never go back to a wired VR device ever again. I crossed that bridge and have no intention of ever going back. To me, the best VR sets are stand-alone with the ability to connect to PC. Covers all ground. So far PSVR2 is looking pretty much like the PSVR1... A Resident Evil game, a bunch of PCVR ports, and a Team Asobi Astro-bot game... Looks like it's going to follow similar trajectory.. so I'm not impressed. Oh yes, wireless VR is a blessing. You can play Metaquest wirelessly on PC but it requires a really powerful wifi modem apparently. Well you're not wrong but I'd say PSVR2 has it way better. PSVR1 had so many issues. Oh yea, you were half way satisfied with PSVR1... so PSVR2 would be a massive step up for you... but at the end of the day, it's still the same kind of trajectory as PSVR1. Mostly PCVR and Quest ports, and a couple Sony exclusives here and there. Call of the Mountain ain't convincing anyone though... Still tons of cows hoping for HL:A. VR won’t become mainstream until it becomes very cheap and seamless. I’m fine with it being niche as long as the quality of games we get keep improving in VR along with the tech. For a VR headset that's great numbers for 2.5 months on the market. At this rate PSVR2 will outsell the steam deck... Before the year is done... So the question begs.. And looking back at that original chart, it clearly says SIX WEEKS after launch, in launched in February, so this is basically just through the first quarter of 2023. Six weeks is February 22nd to April 5th. .......we're not even talking about Christmas season, we're talking about in the middle of Q1.
