Well obviously PS4 has killer exclusive Jap support. Just seems the release schedule for first party is sparse. Anyways I always looked at Sony first party as a bonus, not the reason to own a PlayStation.

You think this is bad, some people think devs will be able to port the next gen games from the lower Lockhart XBox model to Switch. Some people are expecting optimization miracles.

People are making a good point about checkerboarding. If you run games at 60fps you have double the frames for image reconstruction making everything look much closer to native 4K. All current CB games aside from a few exceptions are 30fps. So 4K 60fps checkerboard is going to be a fantastic compromise all around.

The movement is a lot more fluid, but I don't like the setting as much. The Escape From New York inspired setting was just too freaking good.

XBox's budget was getting cut out the ass since 2013, and Phil didn't walk up to the upper management. Give a shitload of $$$ so I can make XBox competitive. He went in with an offer which would he could pitch to the CEOs. XBox as a service, on every platform, use our cloud division etc. If he went into pitch XBox hardware as their main gaming driver, he'd dick for money for his division.

To be fair XBox hasn't had a single exclusive since 2016. Switch being added to supported platforms doesn't really nullify the mental gymnastics of the last few years as to why PC doesn't count and the games are defacto exclusive...

PS4 is obviously going to kick ass with stuff like Nioh 2, Gran Blue and too many to list. I know Sony is saving everything for PS5, but still, huge fuck up.
