Joel2424. He was an avid cow and he was pretty young, like 13 or 14 at the time, hence his picture. When he started owning lemmings in debates, they started personally attacking him by photoshopping his pic (in admittedly hilarious photoshops). He eventually drifted away and stopped posting. I remember he was a "posting ally" of mine on SW, but I did feel bad for him getting owned at the time. We should all reach out and tell him we love him, if we can even find him.

I remember the Joel thing being particularly fucked up, but also legit had me laughing at the time. After I saw it I told myself, "Ok, never post your pic ever on this website or else fanboys will start photoshopping you getting fucked in the ass by Ken Kutaragi" LMFAO Joel was a cool kid. I think he took the heat and owned the lemms a few times too. But he could say nothing in response to the photoshops, everybody was quoting them dying lmfao

GD, FilthyN was famous as fuck on Gamespot in mid 2005 after he made that post. Dude became an internet meme before internet memes existed. People posted "shuddup wit dat science fiction talk fool" in all the threads for years. He was a legend. if you already knew that and just meant "whose alt was he," then I don't know. That's one of the many unresolved questions to this day. I heard people saying it was lodge years back, but that's it. They're pretty open and encouraging as well, or at least in my experience of having a co-worker from Korea who was visiting the US temporarily. It's mostly on account of Japan's unique history and being an island nation that its population has a recalcitrant culture that makes it tough for them to understand foreigners. They bring much cultural baggage to simple social interactions in my experience.

I took a nightly Japanese class recently at a nearby university for fun Interesting language and cool people but I get the feeling that the Japanese don't really want you learning their language if you're foreign. They don't really expect you to speak it or get fluent in it, just know a few key phrases (if anything). The class had a few Japanese students interacting with us, and they were cool, but I definitely got that vibe. Not that they hate us, but it's in their cultural mindset. Good luck making genuine friends with any of them either, they're all timid as fuck, intimidated by anyone

Just saw Zero Days. cool af documentary, though a bit corny at times. 8/10 highly recommend
