The Dead Space demo is horrible. It doesn't do the game justice at all.

I just finished Uncharted 2 last night.

Looking for something new to play. Was thinking Heavy Rain or Batman: AA.

rent heavy rain. it starts off slow, but it ends up being a sick interactive experience.

I HATED the Dead Space demo. It was boring as fuck, but I may still like it, because I hated the HR demo and that turned out good.

yeah..demos aren't always the best way to judge games. i too hated the heavy rain demo, and then it ended up being one of my favorite single player experiences this gen.

i played deadspace for a few hours. i may try to give it another chance down the road.

Dead Space is one of my favorite games this gen

i don't think dead space sucks. it just couldn't hold my interest for more than 2 hours. i still don't know why.

Played a little bit of your level GD, I like the "hidden-behind-objects" platforming bit in the beginning.

I made it to the jetpack part, but got stuck and now i have to go in a bit. So, i'll finish it up and rate it later.

Just one thing though, can you add some music to it

i wanted to keep it with very minimalist, using only sound effects... almost an ico-feel. the last 2 puzzles are the hardest. i'm curious as to what you think of them.

setting really does matter. i would rather have a sci fi universe like metroid, halo or deus ex than a generic military setting

of course it does. setting is what made batman aa a god game in the eyes of many. gameplay-wise, it's quite average.

BF3 will slaughter every modern/WW2/pre-historic/sci fi shooter you've ever played.

setting plays a big part with immersion imo. if i dislike the characters or setting, it's hard for me to enjoy the gameplay, since i have little interest in seeing the rest of the title.

2 things:

1. i am going to switch to the 360 for online for the time being. every game aside mw2 is a wasteland on ps3. unless something like starhawk hits i aint playing on it

2. i am no longer playing military fps. i am sick of these games

yeah..i can't stand military FPSs anymore. i only like sci-fi shooters or cinematic popcorn adventures ...

i made my first level in little big planet. it's called little big puzzler (name: gamedrunkk). it will probably get 1 star'd up the ass since it's a bit tricky compared to the norm in the community. since the game struggles a bit with fast-based platforming, i decided to make it very physics-based with a few "outside the box" moments. if anyone here still has a copy of the game, i'd like to get your feedback regarding the difficulty.

Also, I remember creating my first level on LBP. Shit gets fucking addicting especially when your mind starts churning and you get all your creative juices flowing

On a side note, I'm up to chapter 4 in FF13. The battle system is really starting to open up and im starting to enjoy it a lot more

LOL this is so true. i just spent 5 hours on it, toying with all the devices, doing all kinds of experimenting. it's like crack!! my first level consists of physics-based puzzles. it starts off somewhat easy and then gets pretty tough as it goes on. i still have a ways to go though. LBP is such a creative game and now with the new water physics it makes things more interesting.

Playing "Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan" A unique rhythm game on the DS.

How is it? I've been meaning to try it for quite some time.

It's awesome and pretty funny! It's gets pretty difficult really quick, though.
