Playstation Tablet 1,730
You can cancel a digital content purchase within 14 days from the date of purchase and receive a refund to your PSN wallet, provided that you have not started downloading or streaming it. Digital content that you have started downloading or streaming, and in-game consumables that have been delivered, are not eligible for a refund unless the content is faulty. You can cancel your purchase of a season pass within 14 days from the date of purchase and receive a refund to your PSN wallet, provided that you have not started downloading or streaming any digital content (e.g. game add-ons) included in the season pass. DynamiteCop 2,087
It seems like they got half-way there, this is a dumb implementation of what is the industry standard now. The only way this works is if you make an accidental purchase or second guess it and even then you only get a refund to your wallet, not your source of payment. No chance to try out the game to see if it's for you or if it's a mess etc. Curious why they didn't institute the two hours of play part of it or what constitutes an actual refund everywhere else in reality. McWicked 825
Hopefully Microsoft will offer full refunds to people who bought an xbone in response.

Lol only Xbox testers on the insider program have access to auto refunds. They called it "alpha" to test refunds and they have been testing for 2 years now. Wonder what MS is waiting for. Yeah, I'm really not seeing the usefulness in this program. The most basic protection I'd expect is the ability to refund a pre-order that you haven't played, but, from the sounds of this, you're not entitled to a refund if you've pre-loaded it. And it's not even really a refund, it translates to store credit. It's totally useless in like 99.99% of situations, this seems like a PR stunt trying to get positive attention as if they're on board with changing without having to actually change.
