It dented the bezel edge slightly a bit, but the screen still functional and no cracks. Mid 2012 Macbook Pros are built like a tank. Are 2016 and newer Macbook Pros still made as strong and durable? Prolly not as durable but I've dropped mine a few times. Got the non Touch Bar 2017 model for $900 on sale they're pretty affordable nowadays.
