Actually, I guess with this spec bump the 5600 XT does indeed look like it could be more powerful or the same except with 6GB of GDDR.

I don't think the RX 5600 XT should exist.   It's a waste of money when you can just grab at RX 5700 that is at a similar price and less cut down.   5600XT purpose was to compete with the GT

Lmao, they had this shit staged from the get go.

I don't think you understand.. lmao.  Even with this bump, the 5600XT probably isn't beating the RTX 2060 in raster performance.  Maybe matching it at best... and for just $20 more, you get RTX with better support, better drivers, ect ect.

That's not a head to head that AMD wins.. They have to do better than being $20 cheaper with the same performance (not counting RT)

This is absolutely a reaction :D

More like anyone who bought an RTX 2060 for $350 got fucked. :hest:

The card is a year old

Anyone who bought a 5700 just recently got fucked actually.  The 5600XT will probably perform the same and it's $70 cheaper :D

RX 5700 is $329.99 (MSRP) with more GDDR6 and higher clocks. :brett:

Maybe AMD has vBIOS updates coming for all their cards :vince:

How so, the RX 5700 outperforms the RTX 2060.

Now if NVIDIA really wanted to shake up the mid-range, they should have priced the RTX 2060 at $249 like the GTX 1060 was before it.

The 2060 is cheaper and has more features and about the same performance.  Even AMD's own 5600XT nullifies it..  That's what their little spec bump did to themselves.  If you're an AMD fan, you buy the cheaper 5600XT... if you're an Nvidia fan you buy the cheaper RTX 2060.

here you go giving bad advice.  The RX 5600XT hasn't even reviewed and from what AMD showed at CES it's in the range somewhat above the GTX 1660 Ti and Super.

We've seen benchmarks already that show the RX 5700 (NON-XT) beating NVIDIA's RTX 2060, 2060 Super, and non-OC RTX 2070 in gaming benchmarks.  As shown below:

From someone who doesn't play fanboy sides, having both AMD and NVIDIA GPUs, if you were shopping for a AMD GPU at the best 1080p.  The clear choice are the RX 5700 and RX 5700XT which are significantly cheaper in cost compared to the NVIDIA counterparts.

Dude... we can extrapolate performance.  And I'm talking about the 5600XT... with this vBIOS update..  It's going to be as fast as the 5700 dude.. lmao

And again... the 5700 = ~2060..  It's easy to hit 5700 perf with a mild OC.  And there's quite simply no contest when it comes to forward looking features.

I hate to tell you this man... but AMD themselves completely nullified their 5700 card with the 5600XT vBIOS update.

There's NO possible way I could recommend anyone buy a 5700 series GPU right now.  In less than 10 months anyone who does is going to feel foolish and left out.

@Remij_ you speculating, we won't know where a VBIOS upgraded RX5600XT sits at until benchmarks come in.

Now you're trying to say a RX 5700 = RTX 2060 which is just an outright lie when you can look at the benchmark above and see the RX 5700 beating the stock RTX 2070.

The only thing that's been nullified by NVIDIA is there own GTX 1660Ti GPU, with the RTX 2060 now costing $299.
