Yeah but they developed Strikers in conjunction with Atlus to make it more Persona-like. This game on the other hand seems to lean more into the Dynasty Warrior template. The rest of the gameplay systems is all Fire Emblem. The IGN review: https://www.ign.com/articles/fire-emblem-warriors-three-hopes-review Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes pushes things farther than ever, adapting everything I love about the strategy franchise outside of its turn-based gameplay for use in an action game. It makes for a robust, overstuffed game with systems, menus, and perk trees all vying for your attention. The storytelling feels just like the Fire Emblem of old, thanks to numerous fully-voiced cutscenes and other conversational opportunities. Even outside the main missions, Three Hopes does a lot to keep things moving story-wise. Instead of living inside a menu, this game’s camp is a fully realized environment that you can walk around at will. You can talk with every character you’ve recruited, buy weapons and gifts, volunteer your army to perform chores, train and gain levels, or even cook up a meal for your comrades. It’s a whole subgame that feeds into battles via necessary upgrades to health and attack power. Between upgrading camp facilities and tending to friendships, Three Hopes has a level of progression that many other musou lack. Verdict You generally know what you’re getting into when you boot up any Omega Force games, but Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes includes pleasant surprises. Unlike the original Fire Emblem Warriors, Three Hopes no longer feels like a musou game with references to another series layered on, but a true hybrid of Fire Emblem’s social gameplay and Warriors’ battles So it's like I said, it leans into Fire Emblem, the same way person S leaned into persona. P5 Strikers is a direct sequel to P5. Its a continuation of the story where the cast is all the same, including the main character. FE Warriors is an alternate history storyline with few connections to the original game and even has an entirely different main character. They're not comparable.

FE Warriors is an alternate history storyline with few connections to the original game and even has an entirely different main character. They're not comparable. Don't change your stance now. FE: three hopes isn't a Dynasty Warriors game with an FE skin like how FE warriors was. It's a alternative take on the story from three houses. The same IGN review you posted EXPLICITLY makes note of this. Not only that, as I pointed out above the systems, story etc are all straight out of regular FE game and more specifically from the same world as three houses. Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes includes pleasant surprises. Unlike the original Fire Emblem Warriors, Three Hopes no longer feels like a musou game with references to another series layered on, but a true hybrid of Fire Emblem’s social gameplay and Warriors’ battles It offers an alternate take on the story of Fire Emblem: Three Houses, starring a mercenary named Shez in place of Byleth. The old hero turns villain as Shez joins up with one of the three houses and seeks revenge. The storytelling feels just like the Fire Emblem of old, thanks to numerous fully-voiced cutscenes and other conversational opportunities. Things can get complicated when characters talk about their distant relatives and which fiefdom they plan to conquer next, but it works. They're comparable because they're both not Dynasty Warriors games with a different skin instead they rely on the systems of their base franchise Edited June 22, 2022 by Goukosan

So people who enjoyed those aspects might not get much out of Three Hopes, it really comes down to how much you like the Dynasty Warriors gameplay.

Lol I like how you post an IGN review to intially make your point that it just a Dynasty Warriors game with an FE skin. But when someone actually reads the review... It says the opposite of what you claimed. The review says that both the social aspect and story are like fire Emblem of old, more specifically three houses. Next time, you should actually read the source you're using before posting it, to avoid having egg on your face Edited June 22, 2022 by Goukosan
