Playstation Tablet 1,726
Same console, small principle, very similar library of games. Makes you wonder if Switch 2 might see something similar.
Mr. House 3,371
The market is constantly expending. It's way bigger now than it has ever been. Waiiiiit, 3DS sold less? Edited August 7, 2023 by Ramza
Hot Sauce 2,734
Price and smartphone competition I'd guess.
Sabo 442
Expensive. Hell, the damn thing is still expensive even today. I remember I was curious about buying a 3DS XL a couple months ago and was shocked at the prices I was seeing. The prices were around 300 bucks which seems ridiculous. You might as well just buy a Switch at that point.
Goukosan 2,256
Botched launch, Price and only one analog stick. All three the ended up "fixing" but the damage was done.
Cooke 2,030
They fucked up the naming again just like with WiiU. 3ds didn't seem like a successor but just a revamped model
Twinblade★ 3,925
Glasses-less 3D legitimately worked and was impressive in a fair number of games. I really can't believe Nintendo and tech companies in general did nothing with the idea afterwards and just let it die out.

JonDnD 2,636
Cause it was a gimmick. Nobody cares about 3d, or VR, or whatever other gimmick there is.

I think the colorful games with cell shaded visuals made the best use of it. Like Professor Layton and Phoenix Wright.

Honestly its been so long I can't really remember. I just really enjoyed how the characters in Layton and PW and their many animations 'popped' in 3D.
