soup 105
Lmao, Mareg is so diesel. It sucks that I already know the outcome but it's still a great game. There's a part when you first reach the Papal State and you're asked to find the Granasaber the explanation you're given is like "In the Legion of Darkness" and Ryudo responds "That's not vague enough, can you be less specific?", I couldn't help but laugh. MNDWSH 2
The game is awesome "FEEL THE TOUCH OF POiSON"
soup 105
I love it when Millenia is in your party and her berserk goes off.
-BAF- 11
I think Im gonna skip the last 3 hours of GoW1 and hop onto GoW2. Stuck in hades?I'm at this cliff section and don't know where to go.If I were you, I'd still finish GoW 1. The ending explains a lot of events that occur in GoW 2. You could always use an online strategy guide on gamefaqs if you're stuck.
REDE 66
If you don't know where to go in GoW then you're missing something obvious. I had one of those moments too when I had no idea what to do in one part to continue and it turns out I had to just walk over there and open a door I didn't notice if you just look around a little more you'll find where to go

Like one time, I was in this room made it look like you were supposed to launch logs into a giant door (the minotaur boss fight room). So I was there for like 5 minutes trying to figure out what to do with the logs. Turned out there was a destructable wall that was really hard to see because of the static camera. When I found it I was like.
-GD-X★ 7,761
you got stuck there? LOL
Guest C.M.
that little destructable section was hard to see
-GD-X★ 7,761
maybe i'm just used to these types of games, but i didn't get stuck at anything, unless it required a few minutes of logic to work through it.
Guest C.M.
meh, I thought there were a lot of parts where I was like "oh wow, that's what they wanted me to do." Now a game like Portal, that is a game with great design imo.
-GD-X★ 7,761
the only part i hated about gow 1 (and i really hated this), was the part where you have to push this block before these spikes pop up. if you're just a hair shy of perfection, you're fucked. also..i didn't care for the beginning. too much combat, not enough puzzles. fortunately that changes a 3rd in. the last 2/3s are great. gow 2 is better at balancing combat/puzzles/platforming. -GD-X★ 7,761
part 2 has some fucking incredible level design btw.
Guest C.M.
yeah the end of GoW1 is almost Zelda-esque which is great. I'm just stuck on something probably really obvious. It would help if I could control the camera and look at my surroundings.
-GD-X★ 7,761
if you like the zelda-like feel of gow...then you'll love 2. just youtube the ending to one and hop on to
-GD-X★ 7,761
i do wish you could control the camera in gow 3. the game is so gorgeous :(
Guest C.M.
i do wish you could control the camera in gow 3. the game is so gorgeous :(I wonder if it's a cheap trick that allowed them to make the game look so good. Kinda like how the old Resident Evil games did. In my opinion it hurts the gameplay.
Sajuuk 329
Well, when you dont give the player any control of the camera it's easier to pinpoint problems with performance in those areas
