I looked up the demo area. It’s from the beginning and includes some of my least favorite puzzles in the entire game, so just be aware of that. but its a good teaser as far as the general atmosphere and storytelling is concerned.

Without spoiling much the game in general actually reminded me quite a bit of SOMA. They did just release the game on consoles but I heard the controls aren't great, its definitely designed for a mouse. However it might work well on a Steam Deck when using the trackpads if you want to give it a try.
