It's going to end up going down as a masterpiece.

The artstyle is too sterile to bring out the the tech, even shit like Destiny has space worlds that make this look like its a black and white film.

Honestly I watched the footage and I feel like I've been teleported to 2007 the start of the PS360 gen, and I'm not talking graphics here.

Phoenix Wright was just GBA pixelated not because of art choices but beacause it was so low ress and they had no choice. I agree with something like SNES era FF or Chrono Trigger etc, but I dont think it applies to this Phoenix Wright remaster. At least IMO.

At the point we're getting Phoenix Wright and Onimusha remasters on consoles and PC, I'd be surprised if we dont get fucking PNO3 remastered.

It's the 5th year, with a $100 price drop in total. Other consoles went from $300 to $129 by now and would still see declines like the PS2. There is nothing to spin here. PS4 sales are abnormally good, and so is its growth.

We know they are developing a next-gen Phoenix Wright. So no worries, these are just remasters. They got like another 8 games to remaster in the series lol.

Wait you think when you project a 10%+ decline and get a 10%+ increase thats nothing? Almost no console in history has been seeing a YOU increase on its 5th year especially with the 80+ million userbase it has.

Outside of Dynamite's delusional world view, in the real world people look at either the PS4 or XBox, look at the games they want and select that console. Then decide if they'll throw the extra $100 for the Premium or Base PS4. No one goes to a Tomb Raider Digital Foundry video to compare to decide between systems. Ahh I like framerate drops less so I'll get a Pro, ohh I want a higher ress I'll get it an X. LMAO

God of War and Spiderman sold 6+ million combined in 3 days... IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH TEH PRO SHORTAGE. It's TEH TRANSISTORS... that somehow don't apply to any other of the systems. People are choosing the Playstation ecosystem, and many want the best version of that ecosystem. Its that simple.

Kickstarter this gen has resulted in some amazing games that never could have been made under a publisher, 10s of games. Think someone would greenlit a Swery65 about a town with cats? Wasteland 2? Cosmic Star Heroine? Fuck Shenmue 3 was a game that was NEVER going to happen otherwise. A freaking VR Adventure Novel for PSVR?

It was also the gen where PC went to shit, isometric WRPGs died out. A whole genre that later had to be revived through kickstarters, and has been widely successful.

What do remasters have to do with what current get offers? They are just options of not needing to own old systems, and get best versions of said games. Want to get a Dreamcast out for Shenmue or a Gamecube for Timesplitters?
