  1. bubut best on Switch definitiv edishin????
  2. It's pretty much at the top of my list, but despite knowing essentially what to expect, the fact that we don't have a firm release date puts it below the others for me at this point. TLOU2 is number 1 because it's a follow up to one of the best games from the last generation. Naughty Dogs best game. FF7R is looking like the remake I've always wanted of my favorite game of all time... it's a pretty big deal Cyberpunk is going to be huge following up from TW3.. which many people consider the best game from this generation Halo Infinite looks to be bringing the series
  3. Yea, that too. I'm just not sure it's going to release next year... but I guess it has just as good of a chance if not better than Elden Ring, so I'll add it.
  4. Yea, if you haven't now, don't bother. Wait for the PS5 and play all your PS4 games during the initial slow launch season.
  5. Final Fantasy 7 Remake The Last of Us 2 Cyberpunk 2077 Halo Infinite Ori and the Will of the Wisps Possibly Elden Ring, and Ghost of Tsushima as well... Who knows what Nintendo is going to have for next year? Bayonetta 3 seems a likely contender. PS5 and Scarlett launches... 2020 could be the greatest year on record
  6. Great video. There's not too many other outlets that do tear-down videos as well as Gamers Nexus. I haven't watched the full video yet, but right off the bat, I'm surprised at the size difference between the two. The Lite is smaller than I thought it would be.
  7. -Pro = 1440p -X1X = 1728p -Pro has better texture filtering -Pro has grass on the tracks where X1X doesn't. (they make a mistake and say X has the grass and Pro doesn't.. but they got it backwards) -X1X has framerate dips more often -Pro is usually locked to 60 but when tons of cars on congested it can drop to mid 40s
  8. Absolutely. As good as the 3D games are.. to me Zelda is perfect with the top down perspective. A Link to the Past is one of the greatest games ever made. The Zelda formula perfected.
  9. Eh.. so all that would entail is removing the fps cap and bumping the resolution. Nothing that requires a new release.
  10. It definitely could be. The only thing that makes me doubt it is that PS5/Scarlett will both be backwards compatible, so maybe they won't even bother. It's not like GTA5 where they needed to create a new version. It's possible the PC version could be the last version they make, and all focus is moved onto the console versions of GTA6.
  11. Exactly...pretty much the GTA5 formula. RDR2 will absolutely come to PC. It seems that there's been movement recently so I wouldn't expect too much longer till an announcement.. but it depends on how they're going to do it this time around. GTA5 release on PS3/360, then the PS4/XO versions, then the PC after that. There are people who've bought the game 3 times because there was a clear reason for doing so. First release - improved visuals - improved visuals & performance. With RDR2, I think the PC version will be similar to the current gen console ve
  12. It happens all the time. Especially between PC and consoles. Pubs will use PC releases as marketing to build up hype around a new release, which is often console exclusive.. for a time anyway. Now a lot of PC games release day and date with their console counterparts, but there's still that wait a lot of the time. SEGA release Bayonetta on PC in 2017, and later that year Bayo 1+2 and 3 were announced for Switch. I feel that's definitely planned. If I play it and become a huge Bayonetta fan.. then you hear that ALL the games are playable on a Switch... and that Bayo
  13. I think it's possible that with games like Cuphead and Ori they're definitely looking at widening the player base (These games are a perfect fit for the type of console Switch is) and using that to their advantage by drawing fans of these genres into these franchises. I think when you look at what's coming.. you give them Cuphead, Ori... games like that.. then the sequels release for PC and Xbox and they see them on gamepass. They're either going to buy the game, or sub to play the game at launch. This Ori release on Switch gets them in the news cycle again, and if the game does
  14. The higher res does clean up certain elements though, like Ori and enemies... but yea, it's largely the same. Ori 2 though.. Designed for 4K and 60fps+. Unity has been improved a ton, as well as other optimizations to it. It's going to look glorious... especially in HDR It was a good con by MS to release this on Switch relatively close to the launch of Ori 2 on PC/Xbox. It's good marketing.
  15. Literally the first result is a thread on Giantbomb about it And wow, some people on PC had some issues? You don't say!! Not me though... 4K 165fps
  16. Dude.. the XO version hitches. That's just a fact. They've made improvements to the engine and it's reflected in the performance on Switch. Relax.. it's gonna be ok.
  17. Switch version looks better and doesn't hitch at points like the XO version. They said they had made improvements to their engine for Ori 2, and I think some of those performance improvements made their way into the Switch port.
  18. Feb 28th 2020. This will undoubtedly be announced at the State of Play event. God damn. First Ori and the Will of the Wisps, then TLOU2 and then FF7R... I can't
  19. Dude... Fortnite is making them BILLIONS... Fortnite alone in 2018 made almost 2.5 Billion. That's not to mention they're very successful in their other ventures as well. One guy made a video going over just how much money Epic has and attempts to answer the question of "how long can Epic keep this up for?"... and it was something like "They could do this shit all day..." Epic has Big Dick™ money and Tim ain't afraid to throw it around to get what he wants. I guarantee we see some other Sony games come to Epic in the future... and I wouldn't be surprised to see Epic build a few s
  20. Pretty soft looking, and there's some performance issues..but it's serviceable. I'm surprised it even runs on Switch to be honest. I don't even care though, if you are a fan of RPG games, you definitely should check this out on Switch. Also, if you DO have a PC, cross-saves work between Switch and Steam.. which is awesome. Apparently Steam made an API or something so that this will be easy with Switch in the future. I dunno, I just skimmed the post about it, but I'm pretty sure that's what they did. Awesome stuff
  21. I ain't ready you guys. Nah, I'm really ready
