I know that from me as a customer I went from buying an Xbox and all major exclusives, to buying a X360 and all major exclusives plus all major 3rd party games on it, to Xbox One and buying their exclusives till their PC and gamepass announcement, to (as it stands) most definitely not buying the next xbox or any games and just paying $10 a month for GP on PC for their first party in the month they release. I'll be honest, I didn't own a Wii U but the Wii U ports being sent to Switch have all been excellent games so far, so from a first party perspective it seems they most def did support it as much as it makes sense to support a system that flopped so badly commerically. The only ever time I felt a proper 'fuck you' from buying a system is MS announcing every first party game is now also on PC. Made the system I bought completely and utterly useless to me from that very second.

Well obviously. The only reason to buy a Switch is for Nintendo first party, that's why I bought mine so I don't really care if I don't use it much outside of that. Although excellent indie games truly have found a home on that system too. That also means that is the only factor I really associate with as successful for a Nintendo system to me. Regardless of sales the Wii to me is one of Nintendo's worst ever systems for that reason. SMG franchise the main shining light.

That's all relative to taste. I'm not that interested in but many were in Pokemon Go, Mario Aces, Kirby Star Allies, Super Mario Party. Plus there was Octopath. All games that reviewed better than most MS first party titles (outside of forza) so regardless of personal taste they aren't bad games. I'd wait to see what Nintendo announce in their usual Jan (or early year) Direct before saying they got nothing. Nintendo always focuses all it's attention of their next major games before moving forward. Smash just came out and that had 100% of their focus. We'll find out what 2019 looks

Point remains. Anyone can not purchase something. It means nothing about it's quality. You skipped the winner of most GOTYs this year but bought Sea of Thieves. Curious. You not buying Smash last month doesn't mean Switch had nothing last month.

Was originally planning PC but I'm in complete 'wait and see' mode for this game now. I'll see what reviews say regarding differences between platforms. I'm probably gonna wait till after launch though because I think it will be heavily discounted fairly quickly.

Metro should've remained a PC centric franchise first then console getting ports later. The first two games were graphical showcases for years after release. This one definitely doesn't appear to be in that class.
