  1. I rarely indulge in fast food however I feel like McDonald's offers pretty good value for money. Its cheap so you keep your expectations in check and naturally don't expect Michelin Star food or something but do you ever come out of McDonald's feeling ripped off? Unless you are pretty unlucky enough to get a burnt batch of chips or cold burger, everything feels so standardised that you more or less know what you're getting. It doesn't always fill me up and I could swear the burgers have shrunk over the years though. I think they are big users of Zero Hours Contracts over here (UK) which pr
  2. I get that. I'm not holding much hope they will revive The Punisher as I'm not sure it fits into the Disney brand all that much. I'd like to be proven wrong though (only if they do it justice).
  3. Listening to a lot of different wrestling podcasts about Vince McMahon's retirement amid an affair scandal. Probably the biggest news in wrestling in many years.
  4. Marvel confirms new Daredevil series for Disney Plus - The Verge Yep, it sounds like the new Daredevil series is a continuation which is good.
  5. Extremely late to the party but I've just started watching Breaking Bad for the first time and I'm hooked. I went in quite skeptical not because I thought it would be poor quality but I thought a show about crystal meth wouldn't appeal to myself in all honesty. But there's clearly more to the show than just crystal meth and I think that's why it works so well. Walter and Hank are I think my favourite characters but I like Saul a lot from the little I've seen of him so far.
  6. Anyone watching Obi Wan? A bit of a slow start but it feels like its now starting to come together.
  7. Apparently they are creating a new series of Daredevil but I'm not sure if its a continuation or reboot. Hopefully the former.
  8. I'm finding the songs are growing on me albeit a lot more slowly than previous albums with Frusciante. I did go in with high expectations although I was aware he's barely touched the guitar in the past decade so did try to manage expectations a bit. I do still feel a bit bad for Klinghoffer though as I thought The Getaway was quite a big improvement on I'm With You (which I didn't particularly like). Frusciante would claim Goodbye Angels if he could IMO.
  9. Not really sure about the new RHCP album. Its growing on me the more I listen to it though. Frusciante's chops are still intact too.
  10. GoldenEye 007 N64 - Slappers only! LTK - YouTube
  11. The MacGruber film is a guilty pleasure of mine. Just seen Spider Man and thought it was pretty good overall.
  12. Owens is pretty lucky to be a part of this as Cena would be a dance partner more on Austin's level. They would have to turn Cena heel though.
  13. The Book of Boba Fett. Its probably a bit too early one episode in to judge its overall quality although I am curious to see how things pan out. I am a bit sceptical this show will impact the mystique of the character however.
  14. Last Night in Soho Has less humour than Wright's other films but I was OK with that. Better than forced humour that doesn't land I suppose. Diana Rigg in it was a total surprise too since I'm not sure if she starred in films like this usually and it was her last role too. RIP.
  15. Not sure if you dislike the whole song in general or if its just the distorted vocals but if its the latter, there is a Peel Session version of the song without the distorted vocals which sounds better IMO.
  16. A Matrix film with seemingly no Agent Smith.
  17. Barack Obama confuses Scotland with Ireland as he talks of being in the 'Emerald Isles' at COP26 | Daily Mail Online Not really a big deal but still kinda funny.
  18. “It was long and loud and impossible to ignore,” the source said. Joe Biden 'broke wind' in front of Camilla with 'long and loud' emission | Royal | News | Express.co.uk
  19. I saw The Night House and Copshop on the weekend and enjoyed them both. Was gonna watch Halloween Kills instead of Copshop but didn't fancy two horror films one after another. Copshop is actually one of the best things I've seen all year.
  20. I was curious what the Batmobile would look like in this. Not exactly sure it was what I was expecting though. I don't think I dislike it though and maybe makes more sense in Batman's earlier years.
  21. I saw them on the I'm With You tour and enjoyed them although I couldn't help but think that it wasn't the classic line up without Frusciante. Their older material has more energy to it so probably lends itself better to more engaging live performances. Kiedis probably can't get away with knocking out Catholic School Girls Rule or Sir Psycho Sexy very much these days though.
  22. Anyone interested in No Time to Die? It doesn't sound must see but is likely to still be one of the better action films of the year.
