SheepKilla 473
https://www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/should-you-try-the-keto-diet Should you try the keto diet? It's advertised as a weight-loss wonder, but this eating plan is actually a medical diet that comes with serious risks. Officially from fucking HARVARD I guess some youtube clown has more authority than Harvard though. Right?

Officially from fucking HARVARD I guess some youtube clown has more authority than Harvard though. Right? That's exactly what he's doing. Do you know what Joe Rogan and Neil deGrasse Tyson said about Youtube and social media application as a means to live your life? "The problem with YouTube videos, and it's a problem with a lot of things, but one of things about being unchecked while you're discussing things is you can say things, you can use big words, you can sound articulate and smooth, you can do it in a very professional looking manner or passionately, convincingly, charismatically and you're unchecked. But if you did that in front of an expert, and you showed them that; along the way they go "Stop, that's not true. Stop, that's not how it works. Let me show you why this is incorrect, let me show you how you can prove this is incorrect and show you objective truths that render your argument invalid." "It's not about whether they have education, it's about whether the education they had teaches them skepticism of information, and teaches them how to inquire." Aza is literally killing himself because he's was not properly educated to question what he's being told and inquire. Keto risks A ketogenic diet has numerous risks. Top of the list: it's high in saturated fat. McManus recommends that you keep saturated fats to no more than 7% of your daily calories because of the link to heart disease. And indeed, the keto diet is associated with an increase in "bad" LDL cholesterol, which is also linked to heart disease. Other potential keto risks include these: Nutrient deficiency. "If you're not eating a wide variety of vegetables, fruits, and grains, you may be at risk for deficiencies in micronutrients, including selenium, magnesium, phosphorus, and vitamins B and C," McManus says. Liver problems. With so much fat to metabolize, the diet could make any existing liver conditions worse. Kidney problems. The kidneys help metabolize protein, and McManus says the keto diet may overload them. (The current recommended intake for protein averages 46 grams per day for women, and 56 grams for men). Constipation. The keto diet is low in fibrous foods like grains and legumes. Fuzzy thinking and mood swings. "The brain needs sugar from healthy carbohydrates to function. Low-carb diets may cause confusion and irritability," McManus says. Those risks add up — so make sure that you talk to a doctor and a registered dietitian before ever attempting a ketogenic diet. This diet will kill him.

This is a lie. One of the reasons people go on keto is because your sugar is stable there are no crashes without getting a sugar hit. It's used to treat mental and brain disorders with good reason. Nutrient deficiencies? You are eating the most nutritious foods in existence, and can eat 8 cups of vegetables if you choose to this. Is also another lie. Fatty liver disease is caused by sugar, and worst of all fructose. Kidney problems? With constant consumption of leafy greens once a while and apple cider vinegar another flatout lie. People writing all this anti keto garbage always confuse low carb with ketosis, and have never ever been in ketosis in the first place. Just drive by shit with zero experience or investigation. Putting aside the fact you think you know more than Harvard - What is your reply to this quote? "McManus recommends that you keep saturated fats to no more than 7% of your daily calories because of the link to heart disease" you are FAR exceeding that 7% figure and putting your heart at risk. Tell this to the people that stopped taking Insulin injections, blood pressure medication, and statins, epilepsy pills while these drug dealing doctors couldn't give a shit beyond shoving a pill or an injection down people's throats. There is a whole show about doctors not giving a fuck in weight lose solutions, beyond taking tens of thousands of dollars to chop up someone's stomach on a surgeon table. Then admitting bariatric surgery has a 95% failure rate. Edited January 1, 2019 by Team 2019

"What are your thoughts on fats being linked to heart attack?" "DOCTORS ARE BAD" Fat is not linked heart disease, in the abscense of carbs. The standard American diet is a sugar diet. Insulin resistance a disease caused by overconsumption of carbs, with constant sugar spikes is the most damaging dieting aspect you can have to the cardiovascular disease. Pretty much 99% of the population has Insulin resistance because we were never designed to grains by the pound a day. This is possible only due to modern agriculture, and fruits were seasonal and a fruit now is 10x the size and sugar content, its mutated abomination, not a real fruit. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC380256/ Edited January 1, 2019 by Team 2019
