I'm pretty sure at this point Waypoint articles have become near parody pieces. Have yous seen how their Days Gone review starts?  That's literally the first paragraph.    One of the first t

The two biggest exclusives for Xbone and PS4 were outscored by this:

Translation, “Blyat. Comrade. Keto diet.”

Played it for quite a few hours now. So far it's literally your Ubisoft open world game (prior to Odyssey) with a zombie setting.

The production values are top notch.

Don't really have much progress story beat wise but so far it's your fairly standard stuff.

A horde really is pretty impressive and super tense to try take on.

Gameplay is exactly how you expect, mostly stealth driven then your regular melee and 3rd person cover style gun mechanics.

This is your typical open world game of a year or 2 ago. No doubt it's aged poorly after RDR2 and Odyssey and it doesn't have to core gameplay mechanic that is as fun as Spiderman to hold it up.

Intro is poor, story pacing is all over the place like most open world games cause you're constantly getting distracted by things.

To me so far, seems like the most standard 7.5 game you can imagine. I truly have no idea how this can be a 5, especially given how games ratings are basically on a 7-10 rating and anything below signifies near unplayability.

The GS reviewer put 55 hours into the game. It could very well be a 5 once the repetition and mundaneness sinks in hours later.

As if that nerd's opinion matters. Crackdown 3 is a genuinely massive flop. That IP is dead and buried for sure now. :tom:

Two 5's and two dead IP's, the difference is a studio is going to be shut down for this and one isn't :tom:

3-5h in:

-AAA production value across the board.

-Graphics are phenomenal.

So what's the problem here?

-There's a right wing radio station that preaches self-reliance

-There hasn't been a single 'person of color' yet

-Deacon doesn't shoot women as a personal code of honor

-Deacon's wife is blonde & hot

-Deacon and Boozer Bro out a lot, Boozer is a party animal as his name suggests

Two words: MEDIA TAKEDOWN.

There is no doubt in my mind this is a AAA game. You can tell Bend did their own thing with this game, i'm shocked a major publisher would let a studio put out out a game like this without doing the 'diversity pass' or running through the political agenda checklist. I guess The LesbiUs 2 has those bases covered, though.

You can tell this game was made with the heart and the soul of a studio that has laid dormant this past gen and has not been corrupted by mainstream gaming terrorists/SJWs. This is what an AAA next gen game would have looked like if the USA didn't become a cucked/conquered country and have an SJW epidemic going on currently.

The fact that Sony would let a game like this come out... wow. Just wow. You have won me over Sony.
