First of all, 'soccer' is football. You know the game where you kick a ball with your foot. Not run and throw an egg.   Secondly, you're right, one is the only sport that really matters on a

Soccer had its 15 minutes when those ugly lesbians tried to make a sport a movement.    Thankfully people lost interest real quick .

Didn’t that same US women’s soccer team get beat by a high school male team?   edit LOL yup

the leagues got some problems, but most do. it's the superior sport with the best athletes. best mix of physical beasts combined with elements of finesse.

They would not struggle. Conditioning isn’t a skill, it’s endurance. Anyone can have it.

A NFL wr or running back (assuming they have eye foot coordination) could easily compete in a soccer match.

a soccer player would be taken out on a stretcher within 3 plays in the nfl

That is BS and you know it. Check out how successful Usain Bolts soccer career was to see how easily a highly specialised athlete goes in a new sport

Even highly similar sports like rugby and NFL have very very few successful conversion attempts because their bodies are moulded to achieve different things over a long period. Very few people have both explosiveness and endurance and NFL favours explosiveness and trains for it

I said assuming they have eye foot coordination. Nothing about soccer players being able to RUN is skillful.

any nfl skill player could train for endurance with ease. No soccer player could compete in the nfl bc they simply would be too small and weak

now, strength isn’t really a skill either, but rather a long process. Endurance isn’t a long process, and most players could be in equivalent shape to soccer players in a few weeks

Name all the successful NFL to Soccer converts then

Being able to effectively manipulate a soccer ball with your feet at the highest level takes a lifetime of playing the game

Not only would they struggle simply with endurance they wouldn’t even be able to hold on to the ball let alone do anything with it

Okay, that has nothing to do with what you said

i said assuming they had eye to foot coordination, endurance wouldn’t hold them back. These are significantly better athletes in every way, bigger, stronger, and faster.

NBA for sure has the best athletes in all of professional sports.

I wouldn’t say that tbh. If you’re not 6 ft you’re not in the league (few exceptions, sure) and height isn’t a talent

tho they are infinity times more skilled than soccer players

Why are you comparing two sports with such different skill sets. How about comparing nfl to rugby and AFL.

An NFL player that specialise in any area would be murdered in Rugby or AFL, a QB would legit play 5 min.

no safe catch

no blockers allowed

no breaks

have to attack AND defend

no time to talk about what play to make next

no time outs

the playmakers have to tackle and defend as much as anyone

no padding, no helmet, etc

NFL is like baby leagues compared to actual physical sports. Your knowledge just doesn’t exist past the shitty sports your country knows.

The nfl is the most strategic game on earth. They could out scheme a rugby team in a heart beat. A team of the best from rugby would get whooped all over in the nfl or in a merged version.

also rugby players  are literally 1/2 the size of nfl players on average

You’re talking out of your ass. Any nfl team would lose in rugby to a rugby team and vica Versa. As with any sport.
yeah how are those twice as big players going with zero breaks and continuous play. NFL literally has 3 different sets of teams, that’s how singular faceted they are. Rugby and afl have one team with subs. You need to have the skills of a playmaker, speed of a running back, defence of blocker and all the strategy on the fly.

you see nfl plays get fucked up all the time when they can’t take time outs and have to rush. Imagine a full game of not being able call a play. It’s boring as fuck. I’d rather watch chess if I want ‘strategy’ only.

The difference here ghostz is that the non Americans have seen the top level of gridiron, which is the NFL.

what level of the other sports have you seen?

how much English Premier League or Champions League have you see for football instead of comparing it to MLS. Even football fans won’t watch that shit.

how much NRL or AFL have you seen? You don’t even know what they are. Just the usual ignorant American.

We’ve seen Super Bowl. It’s boring as fuck and nothing about it would make anyone switch from following nrl and afl if they like physical sports

If you have zero investment in the game or teams, why would any sport mean anything to you? Lol what a dumb post.

I would never convince anyone outside of US to watch NFL. You have no loyalty or interest, but that doesn’t change the fact that NFL is simply a better game. And makes more money than any other sports league in the world.

such hypocrisy. What investment do you have in any of the sports I mentioned? Literally the exact same thing. And actually I’m not a fan of rugby or afl, I vehemently hate afl actually, but it’s still better than the crap that is American football.

HahahahaHaha omg that last line. Incredible how clueless you are.

You can get in NFL shape in 3 years. You can play with a soccer ball in that same amount of time for 10 years and still suck squat.

Degree of difficulty for a football body is easy.

:D

soccer is popular, bc it’s for poor people. Anyone can play it.

but when it comes to moolah, one lil American sport makes more money than all those lil soccer leagues

:reg:

in fact, any two American leagues make more money than ALL soccer leagues in the world.. lol. Combine our least watched sports, nhl and nba, and they dwarf all soccer leagues combined as well

whos clueless?

Although money made doesnt =/= skill or anything, but you said I was wrong.
