Hopefully DS can save it, and thankfully sega was there to carry Sony's ass AGAIN with the only two AA+ games all year, Catherine and Judgment.

And any supporting third party games... That are missing on Switch. PlayStation really is the best place to play. Modern Warfare, best on PlayStation and ditched.

Even so, the third party exclusion is infinitely worse than some low budget filler titles like Concrete Genie and MediEvil scoring higher than most AAA titles coming out of your previous homestead.

 

Where you going to be playing Modern Warfare? Yeah that's what I thought.  You'll be drifting back to PlayStation harder than your joy cons and Ditch Lite.

Isn’t the PS5 rumored to come out next year? They might as well delay it a few more months and make it a cross gen title that would release as a PS5 launch game.

it was probably already built with ps5 enhancements in mind. so you probably aren't far off.

sony doesnt need to hold its flagship title hostage to hustle people into buying its next console the way nintendo does with zelda (twice) and the way ms is doing with halo infinite - sony actually respects its customers. this is ps4's swan song just like part 1 was ps3's. part 1 released in JULY of 2013, before ps4 released in november of that same year. they can released the goty edition for ps5.

we are starting to witness the chinks in sony's armour.

 

18 month drought, 6 and 7 rated games, nothing but moneyhatted 3rd party japanese games which are finite, soon Switch will steal the last of those stragglers away too as the Japanese gamer continues to reject PlayStation and it's hostile censorship policies.

 

Nintendo needs to release a more powerful switch model and give devs incentive to put their graphically intensive games on it.
