you have to go back to 2016 when gamespot made top 25 lists instead of top 10 for the last time an xbox game was nominated, when forza horizon 2k16 squeaked in at #23

2018 - Monster Hunter World, Into the Breach, God of War, Dead Cells, Spider-Man, Return of the Obra Dinn, Tetris Effect, Hitman 2, SSBU, Red Dead 2
2017 - Breath of the Wild, Persona 5, Super Mario Odyssey, Resident Evil 7, Divinity 2, Horizon, Wolfenstein 2, Hellblade, What Remains of Edith Finch, Nier

2016 - Overwatch, Uncharted 4, Titanfall 2, Dishonored 2, Last Guardian, Doom, BF1, Xcom 2, Witness, Inside .................... 23. Forza Horizon 3

"And although several first-party games were announced in 2019, Microsoft hasn't done much this year to waylay any concerns players might have when it comes to delivering single-player first-party titles. As impressive as it is that Microsoft's studios continued to support their games-as-a-service titles in 2019, like We Happy Few and Sea of Thieves, it's disappointing to go another year without concrete evidence that a Microsoft first-party studio is creating a more story-driven, experimentative single-player game.

Instead, we heard more about 343 Industries' Halo Infinite, Mojang's Minecraft Dungeons, Ninja Theory's Bleeding Edge, Obsidian Entertainment's Grounded, and inXile Entertainment's Wasteland 3--several of which look good, but most of which are multiplayer-focused or encourage co-op play. Wasteland 3 is really the only exception, featuring co-op play but designed first and foremost as a single-player RPG.

Moon Studios' Ori and the Will of the Wisps and Dontnod Entertainment's Tell Me Why are, currently, the only Microsoft first-party games scheduled for 2020 that are entirely single-player. Rare's Everwild could be as well, though its announcement trailer seems to suggest otherwise. None of Microsoft's planned first-party titles offer something similar in scope to the cancelled Scalebound or match the creativity in the design seen in PS4's Death Stranding or Switch's The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild."

I'm not seeing any ps4 exclusives on that list :trump2:

we going by true exclusives?

in that case, you have to go back another year to 2015 for the last xbox exclusive that was nominated... halo 5 also at #23 :mj:https://www.gamespot.com/gallery/top-25-games-of-2015/2900-430/

how far back is the last top 10 xbox exclusive :patrice:

anyways, like i said before, gamespot is showing their anti-switch bias again, looking at some of the scrap on that list.

A Plague tale? Disco? Outer Worlds? Cuntrol?

After undercutting a slew of Switch games that were clearly 9.0+ titles (Astral Chain, Luigi's, Zelda) with 8.0's, they completely snub them for Goty as well.

I bet their office doesn't even have a Switch (much like they had admitted no one even had an Xbox One there a few years ago).

Joke site that's trying to be a new VICE/Political rag infused with games.

Living in the past won't change the fact that ps4 had no exclusive nominees this year :reg:

Having just played and beat both LM3 and Zelda: LA, they are both rated right at 8 and are not GOTY candidates. :trump2:

Um we won last year.  what an idiot! :D RDR 2 won last year.  It was not yet available on PC.  At the time when it won goty the best version was on Xbox One X.

The PC version wasn't available then so therefore Xbox and Lemmings won goty at GS last year.  Eat shit gaggot
