PC version includes all of those physical goodies in a box, except it has a digital code to download the game from GoG (praise GoG).

 

This is not a "special edition". This is the regular standard edition, and it comes with a Soundtrack CD, physical map, a world companion booklet, postcards, stickers, and downloads for Wallpapers, etc.

I bet they already manufactured all of the physical items months ahead, before the virus outbreak occurred.

 

They had it originally scheduled for April 16th, so they would've been manufacturing game boxes, maps, booklets, postcards, etc. at the end of 2019.

 

They could still have a disc with alot of installation data on it, but then require a huge download patch at launch. Or they could ship the game without the game disc, and simply issue a product code, but still give you the physical box.
