Microsoft discontinues Xbox One X and Xbox One S digital edition

https://www.theverge.com/2020/7/16/21327330/microsoft-xbox-one-x-s-digital-edition-discontinued

Microsoft first introduced the Xbox One X back in November 2017.

X was a mistake, less than 3 years on the market  before being killed off :sabu:

What were any of you idiots expecting? Crossgen support will cease for everything in a years time, and Microsoft's a year after. This being discontinued doesn't alter its trajectory whatsoever.

Bro you flip flop so much it isn't funny.

You denied for MONTHS that X was being discontinued.    Now you're pretending you expected to bw discontinued this quickly? :mj:

Imagine your console manufacturer discontinuing your preferred console version in less than three years and then holds back next gen games to continue supporting it. :mj:

You denied for months that It would be discontinued because you said Lockhart doesn't exist and that X would remain in production along Series X.

Are you denying those claims? :cmpunk1:

I don't think it's going to going to happen. They killed Lockhart and instead decided on a 12-24 month crossgen period with the Xbox One so all price points could be available.

By the time they phase the Xbox One out they'll be in a better position to discount the Series X so it can consume the whole of the Xbox market. You also have to remember they will without a doubt have an all digital Series X as well.

They killed Lockhart?  By they time they phase out Xbox1 they'll be in a better position to discount Series X?  All price points for Xbox1 will be available huh? :sabu:

Bbbut you "cold stone liar" :awww:

If anything this solidifies there being no Series S. They are still going to produce the Xbox One S, it has not been discontinued.

They eliminated the One X to make way for the Series X, and to alleviate any branding confusion. If there was a Series S they would have discontinued the One S as well.
