If a yearly rehash shows this much of a Jump how big of a Jump you think a non rehashed game will have? 

 

Except the PS4 pic is proof that they didn't even bother trying with those versions.

 

If a dev put out a mediocre looking current gen game, and then was able to pull off a much better looking game for their next gen debut, does that mean next gen systems are significantly more powerful? No, it just means they didn't put in the work with their current gen game.

Can you not just make ugly looking models and then cover it up with DOF? Pretty sure thats a common thing DF talks about.

DOF as an effect can be VERY taxing.

 

They're not "hiding" ugly models... those are quite objectively the best looking crowd models I've ever seen for a game.  Did you not watch the video I posted :drake:
