Power plant wise, it has been upgraded to 235hp AWD matted with a 6 speed transmission. I'd say it is a good car to take it into corners. Id rather a few more grand for to have the wrx set up in it tho. Have you driven a BRZ? They handle better than the SI but you will probably miss that torque coming on so low. The new one will probably be around the same performance as the SI but its probably gonna feel slower , at least at normal driving RPMS. I like the BRZ but wouldnt want it in the winter.
