so it will literally be running on an executable that has the game engine with more advanced graphical features.

they'd both be modified for what they want to do, in both multiplayer and in singleplayer.

 

so they are different versions of an engine.

 

Let me give you an example. Unreal Engine 3 had certain features to start with, but its clearly a different version when they Samaritan Demo came out.

 

Those weren't ALREADY EXISTING features that they decided to "turn on" a couple of years later, right?

They would have if the multiplayer team is a completely different team from the single-player team.

 

They would've each modified the engine differently, and would've diverged.

 

You are saying they developed the single-player, and then they just made the multi-player development recently AFTERWARDS.

 

That's clearly not what we've heard.
