It's more performance than anything. The leap to ps5 is more quality of life. The load times were much faster in the ps4 version running on ps5 so this version might be a bit better. Also the improved frame rates should help with making cars seem faster and smoother. Everyone wants 6,so this isnt enough to hold them over. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

And thats crappy because its in THEIR financial interest to bring GTA Online to the PS5 and XsX so that they can continue making alot of money. So why wouldn't they do this patch work for free, because it allows them to make more money by getting those big GTAO spenders to start purchasing stuff on their PS5 and creating more DLC content? This is probably why they are offering GTAO for free for 90 days for PS5 owners, but they're charging $10 for the single player (that also comes with GTAO) Quote Link to post Share on other sites

It's small in comparison to the usual update but it's there. The plan is probably the same with the previous gen when they slowly phase them out. PS5 and I assume Xbox next gen gamers are a huge minority and with the new consoles still being so hard to get it doesn't make sense to create so much parity at this point.
