Those tax cuts that passed during the Trump admin. sure did help trickle down the wealth didn't it.

EU's GDP has been up the last two quarters. Where did you get your degrees from?

Evidently JerryU because you just moved the goal posts from "there's a global recession" to "well one might come..."    Great job.

They conveniently forget that.

As they probably tell us that Republicans should come into power so that they can fix this.................with another round of tax cuts.

Trump was literally getting ready to drive everything to the bottom:

This recession was coming, no matter what, because of Trump driving it to rock bottom.

If we were in this recession, and interest rates were ALREADY at or near 0%, like Trump had us, we'd be completely fucked.

But apparently we should expect a blue wave in the mid terms because of an abortion ruling that won’t affect the vast majority of people….Lmao

You don't get women how would you know how many are impacted? :umad:

Lol at blaming Trump for a worldwide recession and Biden failed policies.

I wasn't putting the blame entirely on Biden administration policies, but it certainly contributed more than Trump previous decisions, gas price and the war in Ukraine are some of the biggest contributing factors right now and if Trump was in power it would have probably been a different story in that regard.

Elaborate then on how this would be different under Trump? :wonder:

Global recession....blames Biden.

It's not surprising Trump had the lowest educated voter base in history.

Remember when you posted a bunch of bullshit economic forecasts about how much better the economy would be under Biden? Interesting how different the reality was....

It wasn't "bullshit". It was a Moody's projection, a lot of shit happened since then that they couldn't have predicted. Like the Ukraine war.

That being said, there's no way for you to say Trump's economy would have been better than what we have now to refute their general conclusion. Remember, Global recession. It's almost as idiotic as blaming Biden on the gas prices.

You do realize that both energy prices and inflation were steadily rising before the war right? You guys are always to make excuses and deflect the blame. Biden holds a lot of responsibility for where the economy is right now, and thats a fact.

Yeah. Starting during Trump's term.....

This has been readily fact checked.

Fact-check: Did Biden make gasoline prices high on purpose? (statesman.com)

The pre-Ukraine gas prices are literally explained by Covid or Ukraine:

Quote

As we’ve previously reported, the country’s record-high prices at the pump followed a reduction of gasoline supplies as producers responded to the COVID-19 pandemic, when people weren’t traveling as much because of restrictions. As restrictions eased and the economy started to recover, production and supplies were slow to catch up to demand, and gas prices rose. The pandemic also affected supplies of necessary hardware for oil production, and there was a worker shortage.

Quote

Hugh Daigle, a petroleum and geosystems engineering professor at the University of Texas at Austin, told PolitiFact that "gasoline prices are still being driven by the COVID hangover as well as the geopolitical situation in Ukraine. Basically, all the movement in both oil and gasoline prices can nearly completely be explained by these two factors."

We rate claims that Biden admitted to planning to make gas prices high in the United States as False.

and thats a fact.

Quote

"Inflation is global. There's been an acceleration of core inflation across every advanced economy, even the ones that did very, very little fiscal relief," he said. "And so I think the evidence linking specific Biden-era policies to the surge in inflation is just really, really weak."

Linking global inflation, global gas prices, and a global recession to Biden is some low IQ bullshit refuted by dozens of fact checkers. Certainly not "a fact" as you stated.

Why not just admit the fact this is primarily due to Covid's after effects and the Ukraine war, and would likely be the same (if not possibly worse; but we can debate that) under Trump?

you honestly think a war doesn't dramatically change that.

especially one involving a country who was going to threaten Europe with the gas energy market?

The mere THREAT that Russia gave Europe about cutting off their gas would be enough to accelerate energy prices and inflation.

Trump wouldn't have sent 40 billion in weapons and aid to Ukraine, so the Ukrainians would have lost in about a month and things would have went back to normal. No economic war sanctions, just another shit country added back to the Russian Federation. Lmao.

No, seriously I don't know, the more I think about it the more it was inevitable and planned a long time ago regardless of who is sitting at the white house.
