Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty announced

Recommended Posts

I'm open to it. Once you get past all the controversy around bugs and performance, you have an FPS with a lot of rpg/sim elements which are not explained super well. The combat can be feel borderline unfair if you don't understand and continuously upgrade the tech tree.

My biggest hope for CP2077 is that they make the existing sections more interactive rather than add a lot of new areas.

Bugs and performance seem mostly fixed.

But still meh gameplay (Just one example: the police system is generations behind GTA) and most "quests" feel like randomly generated trash outside of the MSQ.

Agreed, 100%. Most sidequest is your typical boring filler open world mission type, go there and kill everyone. With nothing interesting going on in the environment, or from the enemies, or the level design, or in it's mission structure, nothing. Rinse and repeat ad nauseum.

The core gameplay is fine but everything around it is boring as fuck. Witcher 3 destroys Cybercuck 2077 so hard it's not even funny. Witcher 3 was packed with unique side content where your decisions actually felt like they had weight.

The character sidequests in Cyberpunk are quite good, but there aren't enough of them.

is this shit finally fixed on consoles?

Finished it last week (on PS5). It is very much fixed, still some minor tech bugs (like stuff you may see in bethesda games) but nothing that takes away from the experience. Well worth checking out, it's a great game.

I see some people clearly didn't really play the game and just unload their shitty bandwagon-jumping opinion again. Claiming sides are bad lmfao when they do filler content...  :tom:
