Playstation Tablet 1,734
So the Switch 2 could launch as late as 2025 at this rate. Late 2024 is the absolute earliest.

Switch is barely weaker than Xbox one. If you think it's succesor is going to be weaker than Xbox one then you really must be sugar high. Playstation Tablet 1,734
It's a 360 turbo doesn't have anything on XBone. Look at doom or Witcher 3 in comparison.

-GD-X★ 7,765
Why is Microsoft Xbox One better than Nintendo Switch? 1.75x faster CPU speed? 8 x 1.75GHzvs4 x 2GHz 0.4 TFLOPS higher floating-point performance? 1.4 TFLOPSvs1 TFLOPS 4GB more RAM memory? 8GBvs4GB 42.7GB/s higher memory bandwidth? 68.3GB/svs25.6GB/s 85MHz faster GPU clock speed? 853MHzvs768MHz Is DLNA-certified
bhytre 2,753
They could just sell a red cucumber so sheep can fuck themselves in the dookie hole and call it a day. And sheep would still love it and line up to buy one "No gaming company has ever done this before the innovation omg Nintendo is the best "
jehurey 3,278
Nintendo ended up making the right move and waiting for this pandemic-era craziness to stop disrupting the semiconductor industry just long enough for them to not grossly overpay. I think they are catching nVidia at the right time. nVidia may have no reason to continue manufacturing their RTX 4000 GPUs in such quantities, but at the same time they have already committed to TSMC, so they have to use the fab time to manufacture SOMETHING. Something that is guaranteed to sell, consistently. Like Nintendo's next CPU/GPU that will be used in their next Switch.

Those games wouldn't even load up on 360 with its 512mb of ram (Switch has 8x the amount of ram) a GPU that doesn't support current gen features and a CPU that can't run recent APIs. Switch is comfortably above 360, but below Xbox1 and PS4. Edited January 19, 2023 by Goukosan

Playstation Tablet 1,734
I think we should forget about third party games from AAA devs on Switch 2. But definitely it should be a huge upgrade for first party hardware to work on for Nintendo.
