Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! was re-branded simply as Punch-Out!!, and re-released in the U.S. and Europe in 1990[22] and 1991, respectively

which Nintendo would have to register an entirely new IP Copyright.

You literally just typed the word re-brand

an entirely NEW and SEPARATE brand

you just lost the entire argument, right there.

Including COD.        The lemming faction is officially dead.  Xbox is full 3rd party now.        Update*   They have signed a similar deal with

Look how desperate they are for their deal to pass unhindered

Yup, just like them making public announcements with Unions yesterday.   This is just them hoping that a PR thing can help them with their court case today.   Its not going to work

it’s the same copyright :kaz: it was always “Punch-Out!!!”… from day one. The “Mike Tyson” portion was a license. :blessed:

There were other Punch Outs before the Tyson game, obviously you didn’t know that :kaz:

No, its not.

you have absolutely zero evidence of this.

You don't CHANGE or edit a copyright...........you have to register a new copyright.

:lawl:Oh man, he knows he fucked up when he used the word re-brand

He knows that he just lost the argument, right there.

How do you re-brand something you don’t own? :kaz: You’re digging your own hole deeper :hehe:

:lawl: oh my god...........he's literally self-owning himself at this point.

He lost the argument the moment he said the word re-brand.

how wrong you are :kaz:

No............that's just a reprint of the "first publication" as it reads in the note.

They can hold onto that copyright, because they signed a deal with Mike Tyson.

For

The

NES

version.

Do you see Mike Tyson's SUPER Punch-out for the SNES?

Do you see Mike Tyson's Punch-out for the Wii?

You are literally just showing the original 1987 game's copyright submission.

Mike Tyson can EASILY claim the copyright if Nintendo tries using it without him outside of the original NES version.

He lost :kaz: Nintendo OWNS the copy right to “Mike Tyson’s Punch Out”

as I said from day one :kaz:

they don’t make it now because they don’t have the LICENSE. :tom:

No............Nintendo owns the right to the NES release using that title.

They literally cannot use it for anything else. And they couldn't release that title again today without signing a new deal, and paying more money to Mike Tyson.

Its an abandoned copyright.  No longer in use.

You already know this.

You already lost the moment you used the word re-brand.:blessed:

sweetie...................please show me Nintendo selling retail copies of "Mike Tyson's" Punch out on a store front, right now.

I'll wait

they don’t have the license to license THEIR IP like that… who the fuck is arguing that they can? :mj: They absolutely own the IP, just as Sony owns “The Show” IP. :blessed:

tag me when you have ANY proof otherwise.  Because you’ve been beaten into the ground ITT :cruise:

yes they do

Sony doesn't, LITERALLY does not own the word "MLB".

They literally can't

yes they literally can, because it’s licensed. They can make the same game without the license, using the same IP. Just as Nintendo did :kaz:

god damn you’re fucking stupid :kaz:

they literally had to submit a new copyright, just like I said.
