I have the I and II remakes on PSP and I feel like it would be hard to go back to the original versions after that.

 

Not sure about III. Only played the 3D remake and didn't care much for it. Doubt the 2D version would be any better.

You can play these virtually anywhere on any platform at this point including your phone. They’re great but I’ve very rarely had the urge to go back.
