So from what I'm reading, Sony was trying to make Starfield a Sony exclusive and Phil saved us.

 

Thank GOD Phil bought out BGS. Now I can play it at 100+ fps with mods rather than either being forced to purchase a shitty PS5 just to play the low standard non-gamer version. Phil saved me from being forced to pay $600 just to play Starfield at 30fps, blurry ass low fucking settings, high input lag, and either no mods or anemic mod support.

MS are under NO OBLIGATION to bring anything from Bethesda to Sony Playstation.  Anything Matt Booty had said, is meaningless, because both Matt Booty AND Sarah Bond at the trial have already stated that Phil Spencer makes those decisions.  And Phil Spencer got up on the stand and pledged to the judge after she asked him, that COD would remain on PS provided Sony sign the contract... when pressed about other games like Diablo.... the judge LITERALLY cut off the FTC and said "I'm cutting you off, I don't need that, move on"

 

So get the Booty bullshit out of your head dumbass... it came and went like the nothing it always was.  The judge literally stopped the FTC lawyers twice for attempting to negotiate deals for Sony
