Halo Master Chief collection is usually among the top sellers on steam when it goes on sale.

MCC's all-time peak is less than the number of people playing TF2 right now and has under 10k average daily players. It's not a particularly noteworthy entry in PC multiplayer gaming either and that's assuming people aren't just buying it for the single-player.

It's just a decline of gamers interests and lost of prestige for the Halo franchise, it's on a downward spiral since Halo 4. Compare this to the hype around the Halo 3 launch and it's huge online community that persisted for years.

I don't disagree at all, but using PC player data to make that argument is stupid because it's never been big on PC. Your own example is of a game that wasn't released on PC until over a decade after release.

Halo Infinite isn't a top 20 played game on Xbox. That is a stat that would be unheard of when Bungie was putting these games out.
