My god lemmings are a joke most are stuck with an S. :D

For April 2022 Microsoft forecasted Xbox hardware sell in to be 64.9% Series S and 35.1% Series X.Instead, the actuals were 74.8% Series S and 25.1% Series X.That's a massive difference, fueled by the at the time extreme supply shortages thanks to the pandemic. Lol

I’d imagine most of the S buyers aren’t really “Xbox” fans but rather people that just got it for a secondary device.

Don't forget there's a lot of Grandpas out there too. :ahmad:

No shit, only retarded fanboys are willing to spend 500$ on the Series X. Series S at least has an appealing price of entry that gives access to current multiplatform games.

Theres two type of people out there.

personally, I would never buy tech that’s dated at launch unless there was incredible software tied to it.

Xbox (nor PlayStation) does not have incredible software to make up for the shit dated hardware.

there is really no reason to ever buy a series s.

Normal people doesn't care about graphical difference between versions, it's barely noticeable to the clueless consumer. It gets them the same games for a cheaper price of entry so it's all good.

Explains why MS launched Starflop at 720p/30fps. Most of their customers are still on Series S and think 720p/30fps is normal for a "next gen" game :mj:.

:sabu: Anyone still buying a Series X at this point is a retard. It's very clear MS doesn't care for that console and it's easy to see why they don't try to push the "12 Tflops" advantages they promised at the start of the gen.

So developers are spending their own money and resources to make Xbox versions of a full retail priced game in which.

  • 75% of those Xbox owners will almost certainly NEVER buy the game, since they only bought the hardware for gamepass
  • And the other 25% of Xbox owners is like .....[quick math in my head]...ONE-EIGHTH?!?!?!?! the userbase of the Playstation 5

So the developer has to put effort to optimize for a troublesome low spec in which they will not get any full retailer purchases. And they also have to pour money to make a version for a spec with a ridiculously small userbase compared to PS5.

AND people expect the developer to have better resolution and performance on the hardware that has one-eighth the userbase as the PS5?

:hest:No wonder we're hearing rumors that third-party devs are pushing Nintendo to get as high specs as possible for their next hardware, these third-parties are looking for another console to replace Xbox.
