He's trying to reset to his previous talking point..............THAT HE ALREADY LOST :drake:

The game is redeemed on Steam...............you want information about the game, you go to its actual game page on Steam.

You've already lost this talking point, and you know it

Yup............Region isn't lying about your residence.

So a guy from Estonia can select the closest PSN store in their "region"

And read the final line, the false information would have been for a "purpose that violates this agreement"..................they are talking about breaking the Usage or Behavioral Terms of the agreement.

if you USED false information to do something that violates the agreement, you can be banned. it, in of itself, is not the grounds for being banned.

I love how I have to read your own post to you...........for you to LOSE your own talking point

...............see Bloodborne PC port!!!!!!..............wave bye-bye to Bloodborne PC port!!!! BYE-BYE :blessed:

And predicably tons of PC crybabies are crying about it.  Demanding refunds and leaving/changing their reviews to negative.     https://www.gamesradar.com/games/third-person-shoot

Missed this whole saga here but holy shit, Hermits truly proving why they are called Hermits.      Sony handled this very poorly but quite possibly the largest overreaction to something I ha

hermits are such little bitches lmao

I know that Sony sold a game in regions where PSN doesn't exist with the requirement that a PSN account is required... without an official way of creating an account without breaking their own TOS  :rofls:

Sony have completely fucked up their entire PC initiative with this blunder

And the funny thing is... that PS gamers are STILL going to lose all their games to PC :rofls:

PlayStation Network has always allowed people to create accounts in their "region" so they can buy games/services to the corresponding PlayStation Store for said region. Kazakhstan was never officially available as a supported country, but those users used to use Russia and they would subsequently be pushed to that region's store without any issues.

Find the nearest country in your "region", which Sony has a defined list, and everything should be fine. The only thing is finding availability in codes and/or ways to purchase games if your local bank isn't supported in that region.

So this issue just got a hell of a lot worse.

Apparently, Sony sold the game to countries in which PSN was not even allowed to function.

Basically, if you try to activate the game, you get banned from PSN, and obviously you lose access to the game.

Also, Arrowhead KNEW about this.

lmfao Sony is so fucked.

They can easily sue Sony for this anti-consumer move.

Fuck you Sony.

Nope, they have advertised PSN login since the beginning.

They delayed the process due to sever issues.

It has never been a problem to create a PSN account in ANY COUNTRY in the world.

Steam fanboys were  basically lying and spreading fake news that you couldn't sign up for PSN, or that you would get banned.

.........for something nobody has ever gotten banned for.

The TOS does not list anything that indicates they would get banned for creating a PSN account and lying about the country you select.

In fact they even say  "country or region" or "area", or "country you registered in." Which means that your true residence is not a requirement.

................say goodbye to that Bloodborne port. :lawl::lawl::lawl:

No, they didn't.

They never advertised the game to be account likable to PSN.

Arrowhead said it themselves.

You got owned once again Jerry. :tom:

No shit... but they clearly state they reserve the right to ban and remove those accounts created with false info.

The problem isn't making a stupid account and lying about where you are..  it's that Sony is selling the game where PSN isn't offered officially.  Buying games from Steam in your region, and then having a PSN from another region could cause issues in the future..  In your example, you create an account using Russia and get pushed to that store... that's FINE and dandy if you're only able to buy games from that store... but on PC that isn't the case..

This is such an unnecessary colossal fuck up on Sony's part.. lmfao.  Asking their players to break their TOS to make accounts in unsupported regions.. with no promise that things wont be fucked up in the future :cruise:

If Sony says to select a PSN store in your "region"

Then it DOES EXIST............in that REGION.

The only requirements are, that you must use a credit card that's valid IN THAT REGION, use PSN prepaid card that are valid IN THAT REGION, and are limited to buying the content on that PSN store IN THAT REGION.

Word Matter, sweetheart.

If they wanted to be strict about "country" of residence..............they would never go out of their way to include "region" on the account creation page, and "country you registered in" and "country/area" in their TOS.

Arrowhead does not set up the steam page............the publisher does.

The publisher, Playstation PC LLC, has made that known from the very beginning.

LOL this imbecile thought that the development studio head is responsible for the legalities in publishing duties.

Most of the time, Sony will just require them to create a new account (as PSN adds more countries that are supported) and then ask you to use that account for purchase of games/services moving forward. However, they also refer you back to your old account to access previous purchases of games moving forward so I guess they don't totally lock you out of older purchases, but it does make it a bit of hassle.

I mean, it's not breaking ToS if Sony encourages you to create an account in your region. The whole point they include "region" is to designate that user to their specific store assigned to. It's a matter of people creating accounts, not seeing their country and then thinking they're shit out of luck. This is most definitely a huge miscommunication issue.

3.2. During Account creation you must select the country or region of your residence and in which your account will be registered in. Once your account is created, you will not be able to change the country or region code associated with your account.

6 months ago, the game was not required to be playable with a PSN account as you could see PC gamers playing it without problem.

The problem stems from Sony changing their TOS overnight.

Everywhere else online, they are condemning Sony for this publicity stunt. You are the only person in the web defending them.

lmfao Jerry always on the losing team :tom:

Like Remij already said it, this has very little to do with just creating accounts.

This is a stupid move from Sony that basically contradicts their own TOS, potentially barring millions of PC players from playing their game.

Basically, PC players have a valid complaint to not trust a company that had a notorious data breach years ago that left millions of Playstation Users with their data stolen.

If you do something that breaks Usage or Behavioral terms, and they found out that you LIED on the information provided on your PSN account "for the purposes of breaking those terms" then you would be banned.

Yea.. you see how that is not acceptable at all.  No PC players are going to make multiple PSN accounts for different regions because Sony decides to suddenly add countries or change things...

It absolutely is breaking their TOS.  You're mistaking them "allowing you" to input any country/region during the creation process...  If PSN doesn't exist in your REGION.. then you're falsifying information by choosing another region.  Obviously they ALLOW you to do so... but it comes with all the fucked up shit that can happen as a result of it.

They can't FORCE you to be truthful.. but they can cover their asses by stating that you must be or they can hold you accountable.

The game launched in March, dumbass.

The studio head does not do jackshit regarding legal notices for the sale of the game...............that is handled by the publisher.

Its not his call to make, plain and simple.

He is saying he disabled the PSN login at launch because of SERVER LOAD ISSUES.............the NOTICE THAT CLEARLY SAID "PSN ACCOUNT REQUIRED" was on the storepage ...............from..................day...............one.

No it doesn't contradict TOS policy, because TOS specifically included the phrases "country you registered in"

and "country or region" and "country/area"

No why would they include those additional words when they could've just kept it with "country"?

Please stop pretending to play stupid.

I know you're trying really hard because you're a butthurt lemming. And sweetie...............I ABSOLUTELY LOVE that this is happening.

I absolutely want Sony leadership in Japan to see this steam fanboy-led shitshow. :kaz:

I love how you keep on omitting information.

The banned on the basis of using false information.........is if they found out you were using false information to DO OTHER THINGS THAT WERE AGAINST TOS USAGE AND BEHAVIORAL TERM.

Your own screenshot literally proves this.......................did you not bother reading the second half of that sentence?????????????? :drake:

Of course you read it.............you're just trying to lie and grandstand to us.

And its not working against anybody who decided to read the whole sentence, through. LOL

LMAO you lack basic understanding.  No, they can't select a PSN store in their region.  They aren't "picking a PSN store"... they're CREATING AN ACCOUNT FOR USE IN THAT COUNTRY.  If you can't select your country from that list... it's not in a supported region :lemming:
