  1. Same here in Canada. If I could buy PC parts at American prices... god damn... lol
  2. https://www.dsogaming.com/news/nvidia-has-created-a-gaming-studio-to-remaster-classic-pc-games-with-ray-tracing-effects/ Lightspeed Studios I wonder which game it will be
  3. Speaking of backwards compatibility... the DS5 is apparently quite similar to the DS4.. It will keep the track pad as well as the stupid light bar. Aza.. I thought it was going to be a split controller and double as a VR input
  4. Holy shit this game requires 130GB.. By far the biggest VR game out there.
  5. Like shit... that looks really good visually. The graphics have improved quite a bit since the original trailer. Things like Luigi's hat and clothing textures are far more detailed.
  6. 2ms latency... Just tested mine.. I'm happy with it though. I download games at about 20MB/s. Fast enough.
  7. Metacritic - 93 (only 4 reviews so far though lol) IGN - 9.4 https://ca.ign.com/articles/2019/10/10/asgards-wrath-review Screens: People are calling it the best VR game ever made and an essential buy. I think I'm gonna pick this up tonight
  8. No bro. Just listen... I know what SLI and Crossfire are. They're a type of interface used to connect multiple GPUs together. Each GPU in these cases does the same amount of work and is displayed in an Alternate Frame rendering mode, or a Split mode. Each GPU renders an alternate frame and so on. Each GPU must be used equally, or the primary GPU will stall until the 2nd GPU can finish it's frame. Stadia will do something different. It's already shown a tech demo showcasing something that SLI/Crossfire can't do.... One GPU rendering specific parts of the scene and the other G
  9. No they aren't you fuckhead. Cloud servers don't use SLI... SLI scales worth shit. Servers use a completely different bus... and not only that, but the technology isn't even the same. SLI doesn't share memory... Servers with multiple GPUs can be seen as a single system in which every GPU can see every other GPU and access its memory. Top to bottom the stack can be designed around this scalability... This isn't your dinky Crossfire or SLI bullshit you dolt
  10. Yep. Easily the most technologically impressive game in development. Cloud computing and AI is going to procedurally populate and build game worlds and fill them with details on a level not humanly possible by a traditional team of developers.
  11. @DynamiteCop! This technology is insane. Holy fucking shit.
  12. lol yea. On a primary drive, with Windows plus a few other things... that doesn't leave you much room for anything else with games this size. They're gonna have to start giving users more options.
  13. Full system spec requirements/recommendations Also, Activision confirmed that 175GB was for the game plus planned future DLC. The download size/install size will be smaller at launch. Considering how swole Gears 5 and Forza Horizon 4 got... I guess this is where we're at now. Stating storage requirements for future content included with the base game.
  14. Because the server would instead process the input. The controller connects directly to the server instead of to the device. Having a bluetooth controller would mean the device would have to process the inputs.. then those inputs would be sent to the server. The Stadia controller over wifi could connect directly to the server.. skipping the step of the local device having to process the input. Controller - server - device - tv instead of Controller - device - server - device - tv
  15. They absolutely WILL use multiple GPUs... wtf guys... lmao. This isn't like Crossfire or SLI... Stadia's SDK and APIs will all be designed to work and scale across server instances... This isn't some shit added on after the fact.. It's built into the way they're designing the platform. These servers will scale far greater than consumer PCs with CFX or SLI. It's absolutely inevitable that in the future they'll have servers with hardware that easily outclasses the most top of the line PC you could hope to build. Forget a stupid fucking console APU
