  1. Spoken like a true neocon. You guys had such great successes at stabilizing the middle east. Oh wait.
  2. Could have said the same pre Ukraine invasion. It's almost as if the policies you are backing isn't bringing peace or acting as a functional deterrent whatsoever but doing the exact opposite.
  3. How did it worked so very very well? It didn't stop the spread and you had to take multiple booster shots for it to stay efficient. Which most people refused. Vaccines was only good at protecting the most vulnerable. That was the best thing about the vaccine and it's why forcing the population at large to take the risk was stupid, let alone push the vaccines on the least vulnerable to Covid (children). Fact is social immunity for healthy individuals was enough to beat Covid and get back to normality. Only the vulnerable, like old people, the morbidly obese and the pre
  4. Russia isn't suicidal, they won't attack a NATO country directly. That is retarded. That's not even up for debate. If NATO sanctioned Russia for Ukraine, how far do you think would go for an actual ally bound by treaty getting invaded by Russia? Are you fucking stupid? Sending the weapons, paying the salaries of Government officials and the army in Ukraine is not directly supporting the war effort? Huuuh. Without western support this war would have ended in early 2023. Now people like you want to keep grinding this conflict until there's no Ukrainian left to fight. Probably would
  5. Let's continue the delusion that a peace treaty would mean Russian giving back territories. Lmao. Ukraine can't even mount a major offensive and has no changes of getting back their territories but somehow it's Russia that needs to make concessions? That's not how it works.
  6. Lmao. Yeah sure Twinblade, infinite support by sending even more money and weapons to Ukraine would have stopped Iran attacking Isreal dead in it's track, because I guess they would shit themselves? What, you want the US to do a direct intervention? That would be the catalyst to WW3. As if the geo politics of the middle east were completely different before 2022. Funny how a strong NATO response in helping Ukraine hasn't changed anything and we are closer to WW3 than ever. Seem like your views are completely backward.
  7. Watched for about 15 minutes and stopped. Not bad but I can't watch TV anymore for some reason. They were like maybe ten wink wink Fallout reference in the space of 15 minutes.
  8. Because it can't keep shrinking forever. There's not much reason now why current consumers wouldn't have already moved on to digital for the most part already. Switch 2 is coming out soon enough and won't be digital only. We'll see by the time with PS6.
  9. That game bored me so much. Then again I don't care for social games and Star Trek. Lol.
  10. That's under the false assumption that it will continue shrinking into the point of being obsolete. Which I don't see happening any time soon.
  11. They would still sell physical games without even any store.
  12. The business model shrank, the point is, it didn't shrank to a level where it's failing and dying. The other point is that if the full industry could operate on 7 billion, I don't see how Gamestop can't operate with 5 billion in sales revenue. There's money to be made still. Now their trade-in business model is a different thing, it involve a lot of risk from having piles of unsold games but selling physical games is a viable market, just not what it used to be.
  13. Just to put things into perspective, the video games market in 1998 that Jonb and RemiJ probably hold in high regard and probably see as gold standard for games retailers, actually only generated 7.4 billion dollars, that goes for all consoles and PC combined. Meanwhile Gamestop in 2023 generated more than 5 billion dollars in revenue. Basically one video game store brand is making nearly as much as the entire industry did in in the late 90s. Anyone who think this isn't a viable market whatsoever because it shrank vs online retails and digital is absolutely delusional.
  14. Lol? Best buy made 9.6 billion in profit last-year. GameStop went from losing money in 2022 to being slightly profitable in 2023.
  15. I don't hang out there, lmao. It's just something I see often when I buy games myself. I'm serious, a lot of consumers are completely clueless. You think everyone follow gaming news and shit? Call me up when Amazon games sales are dying and then we'll talk.
  16. You know what, I was about to shit on the Lemtards but Forza Horizon and Halo would actually make cool VR games now that I think about it. Warthog run in Halo CE in VR with online buddies would be insane. The floaty physic would probably make you wanna puke though. Lmfao.
  17. Drones and missiles waves coming from Iran. I didn't think we'd see direct conflict. Hezbollah sure? This fucking sucks.
  18. Wow, my argument was so solid you actually followed with another argument as to why people bought a physical game over digital when given the choice. Hahaha. Fact is retail stores gives good exposures to games. You'd be surprised how many clueless consumers walk into games stores and buy things with a cool cover on them that the cashier recommended. I see it all the times. Logic dictates that if you removed Hogworth Legacy physical version, it would have sold less copies. Maybe not by a whole lot but it would still negatively impact sales to an extent.
  19. 44% physical for Hogworth Legacy. One of the biggest game of this gen? I'm sure the publisher was crying and can't wait for physical to fizzle out.
  20. No replies, well the usual VR haters are nowhere to be found. Wait, I'm I the only one who even played this game on this forum?
  21. I love how you talk about a purely speculative theoretical scenario like it's real news. Spoiler alert: your wet dreams about physical games being a thing of the past is just that, a dream. Reality is GTAV sold 50+ million physical copies at retail. A new chart shared with data from the GSD and GfK has good news for retailers: Despite what it feels like, consumers still purchase many physical games. The majority are digital purchases, but breaking down the numbers of the top 20 sellers of last year reveals some encouraging information. EA Sports FC 24
  22. They're not, it's not going to get any worse. It's just the least popular option. I'm not saying these gamers would stop buying games without physical but Sony and Nintendo doesn't have the balls to find out so it's irrelevant. That's just not going to happen. It's too big for that, especially for Nintendo and their family friendly audience.
  23. I'm saying even if only 10% of gamers bought physical, which is an extremely low guess, it's still enough to have a significant retail market and keep going. Of course the market shrank so you saw a reduction from big retailers. Same things with any form of retail, doesn't mean it's completely going away and every shopping mall is closing down. And then there's the fact that it's not only digital stores that is hurting them but... It's also Amazon and do you know what Amazon sells? *drumrolls* Physical games.
