  1. I love how you talk about a purely speculative theoretical scenario like it's real news. Spoiler alert: your wet dreams about physical games being a thing of the past is just that, a dream. Reality is GTAV sold 50+ million physical copies at retail. A new chart shared with data from the GSD and GfK has good news for retailers: Despite what it feels like, consumers still purchase many physical games. The majority are digital purchases, but breaking down the numbers of the top 20 sellers of last year reveals some encouraging information. EA Sports FC 24
  2. They're not, it's not going to get any worse. It's just the least popular option. I'm not saying these gamers would stop buying games without physical but Sony and Nintendo doesn't have the balls to find out so it's irrelevant. That's just not going to happen. It's too big for that, especially for Nintendo and their family friendly audience.
  3. I'm saying even if only 10% of gamers bought physical, which is an extremely low guess, it's still enough to have a significant retail market and keep going. Of course the market shrank so you saw a reduction from big retailers. Same things with any form of retail, doesn't mean it's completely going away and every shopping mall is closing down. And then there's the fact that it's not only digital stores that is hurting them but... It's also Amazon and do you know what Amazon sells? *drumrolls* Physical games.
  4. Except they still do. MS is only leaving retail because they killed themselves by making everything about their digital service.
  5. That trade in model is literally what kept the biggest video games store brand in North America going for decades. Just because it's not what it used to be doesn't mean it's dead. There's a market for it which is why most non indie games still get physical versions. GTA6 physical will literally sell dozens of million of copies for years in stores. Terrible choice of game to make your argument.
  6. Even if only 10% of gamers bought physical that's still million of consumers. There's nothing wrong about my statement. Yeah, going into a store to buy something. What an insane concept.
  7. Huh, no. If you actually stepped foot in a games store you'd realize plenty of people still prefer physical games from just about any type of games consumers and they are definitely not collectors. Being able to resell your games is actually kind of a big deal. There are a lot of people picking up the latest AAA game, beating it in a week or two then trading it back for the next-one or towards a pre-order. There are still midnight launches to this day for important releases. BOTW2 had one for example.
  8. The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners VR Franchise Tops $100 Million (roadtovr.com) VR isn't a complete flop. Some things to consider though, that's for two games over the space of four years on PCVR, PSVR1/2, Metaquest 2/3. It did 28 million in it's first year though. And I don't think it was on Quest at the time. And this is straight up one of the best VR game ever made. Most games wished they had the same positive reception. Although the sequel did flop, came out with a lot of bugs in most versions and doesn't really innovative, feels more like TWD S&am
  9. Didn't want to make a thread so I'll just post this here. Ordered a few more physical PSVR2 games. Resident Evil Village Gold No Man Sky The Light Brigade The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners (PSVR1 but can be upgraded for free on PSVR2) I can't fucking wait.
  10. This is just unfounded NATO fear mongering. There are far more chances of escalations now that we're in the conflict than if we stayed away. Your view of the war is completely backward. The longer you keep supporting this war, the more Ukrainians will die and the least of their country and people will remain. The more it goes on the greater the east and west schism. Ukraine is going to loser either way so you are just slowing down the inevitable. You're completely delusional. US already overspend in the military anyway, so who cares, am I right?
  11. Yeah call me up when the Kremlin declare war on the UK. I'm just not drinking the west propaganda Kool Aid like you do. I mean you though Ukraine actually stood a chance to recapture lost territories including Crimea. Probably still do. Ukraine should have conceded territories and sign a ceasefire/peace talk back when I said they should. Prolonging this conflict only meant three things: Greater schism between east and west, Ukraine losing even more of it's territories and lives, collective west burning even more tax payers money on a pointless conflict.
  12. How do you think we ship weapons over there, on free rides from flying unicorns? Every one of you here who are cheerleading on the Ukrainian war are always downplaying all the collective western insane spendings. Thinking this had no economic ramification. Completely delusionals.
  13. Western tax payers money well spent.
  14. That was for the other point that Russian didn't take the international warnings seriously. You're confusing two different arguments, which I didn't delve into or argue. Doesn't make the it's Ukraine, oh wait it's ISIS end of the post any more right. Some crazy patriotic Russian TV personality is not the official words of the Kremlin. Lmao. Period.
  15. Same thing. Basically any scifi movie from the 60s and under.
  16. Still getting your news from Twitter? You're late af. They're currently investing a direct link to Hunter Biden financing (through Ukrainians links). I am not joking. This is Russia. The order of your Twitter post at the time was wrong and still is.That was my point all along. I always said that they would try to link this to Ukraine if they can. Do you need me to bring my post that prove this?
  17. A few posts on Twitter isn't an established trend.
  18. It looks alright. New Vegas proved you can do both a serious and compelling storytelling intermixed with humor. There's no need to stick to just one. I feel like Fallout without some humor is just another post apocalyptic game. It's unique 1960s inspired design and humor sets it apart. Bethesda still don't understand the lore or how to write interesting factions though.
  19. You say that but STEAM users are the same. Tons of good games on STEAM get tanking reviews for forcing other another client account log-in. Self-raped.
  20. Goukosan and his bleeding, gapping vagina getting wider by the day.
