The Series X is just awkward and it was obviously designed to stand up like a mini PC tower. Laying it on the side is just plain awful looking and it certainly won't fit in most people's entertainment centers. It's not an original design anyways and I would have preferred Microsoft to evolve their existing Xbox One X design... the Series X design would have been perfect for a Surface PC tower.

To be fair though, Nintendo does need a constant flow of games coming to their platform. Whether that be trash or not (though its mostly trash)... Nintendo gets the least amount of third party support. If Switch wasn't getting pity ports and a shit ton of mobile trash releasing on it on a weekly basis the system wouldn't have shit for games.

That seems like a lot of effort just to make everything SEGA branded. This sounds like pipe dreams now.

I wouldn't be opposed to a SEGA branded Xbox, but this doesn't sound like something that will "rile up the industry". Seeing that this announcement is coming from a magazine my expectations are low. Either way, June 4th is going to be an interesting day.

If they throw a SEGA logo on an Xbox Series X or have some limited edition of it is it really going to make a difference? Probably not. People will still know its a Microsoft console when they turn it on.

HDR looks amazing when done right, and is best viewed with OLED or a very high end bright LCD. I prefer OLED and if you're not impressed then I'm afraid you bought a TV with inadequate HDR support.

Xbox is forgettable that way. I can't think of any reason to go back and play on an Xbox 360. It launched a year earlier, killed it out of the gate with games, went full retard in 2009 and still got 3rd place.
