yeah, this season has had some of the best writing, performances and acting in the BB universe. the last 4 episodes have been "holy fuck amazing!" and yes! all of the characters feel critical to the story. none of them feel like afterthoughts.

it goes from good...to great...to amazing...to "holy fuck, i think this may even be better than breaking bad, or a tie" as a whole, bb >> however, season 5 of saul may be better than any individual BB season (imo)

it's been heavily tweaked to flow a lot smoother. i'm already done with 5 palaces (closing in on 6). i have probably spent the bulk of my time building up my character bonds. i'm already almost maxed out in all 5 categories, as well. as for mementos, it's a lot easier to evade battles now. i don't even bother fighting, unless it's defeating a quest. they added a minor puzzle element too, where there are now stamp collectibles. some of them are well hidden. so yeah, i hope p5r does come to switch. it really is the definitive version of the game, and apparently the new "good" ending is significa

i'm at the 60 hour mark in p5 royal. i absolutely love the 2 new characters, and how you can now hang out with akechi (no more automatic level ups). i heard his story, in general, has been overhauled (i didn't care for his initial arc). unlike og p5, there's now almost too much to do with my free time. i literally choose, carefully, how i spend it. kichijoji has added a lot of variety, making it easier to strengthen character bonds and overall stats.

that..was...an amazing final 15 minutes of Saul. The last 10, specifically = wow! I can’t wait for next week’s finale. This season is on its way to topping BB’s best, taking the best of elements of that show and doubling down on Saul/Kim.

There were multiple takes. But it was filmed and edited to come off as one. Some takes lasted over 30 minutes. It’s nothing new (Rope was 2 edits - back in the 40’s). However, the amount of choreography is simply mind-blowing.

Ok...so you got to see all of that amazing imagery with a realistic single take feel. It’s a cinematic marvel.

damn....another incredible westworld. it truly is the most visually stunning show on tv. i can see why they went with 8 eps instead of 10. back to the episode....it was trippy, cerebral, direct, indirect, action-packed...it was just an all-around excellent episode. oh, i love the subtle (well not subtle if you are obsessed with this one film) nod to kubrick (kudos if you picked up on it on your own). as for where it's going, i love all possible theories. will some fans of season 1 be disappointed with the current focus/theme? possibly. however, the last
