This. The idea was that Steamdeck wouldn't be able to run some games well, and at that point it was the end of the road because the hardware just couldn't handle it. Mortal Kombat is a good example becauase from what I can see it's difficult to get 60fps on Steamdeck. But Switch wouldn't find itself with a game it just couldn't run because games would be ported to specifically target the Switch. Which we see here.....but was it really worth it? I'm reminded of Jerry saying the problem with Steam Deck is that games wouldn't be made for it, therefore you would come across games which just couldn't run well - whereas Switch wouldn't have this probpem as games are made specifically for it. And as we can see, this is another example that just because a game is made to run on a certain system, it doesn't mean that it should have been made to run on it

Too many good games for any real gamer to bother with Starflop. All those years Todd and co spent on it and it's entirely skippable.

It was terrible on release. I tried it twice and never made it much further than the first dungeon before putting it aside out of boredom. Awful controls too which needed recalibrating every 5 minutes.

You notice Lemmings brag and celebrate about AAA games underperforming, and 7.0 flops selling well? Definitely not a faction of gamers.

Everyone whonplays it comes away with the same critique - lack of exploration, dead planets etc and it's not terrible but not amazing and not as good as other Bethesda titles felt on release e.g. Skyrim. The game just simply isn't that good but after 10 years of no games....literally ZERO games, lemmings felt entitled to a GOTG quality game. Starfield isn't even Game of the week
