Did you read why GameSpot killed the meta? That's one of the very reasons, it doesn't make sense anymore. It may have made sense 15 years ago but it doesn't now.

Who cares about GS SW? It was dead since 2005. We still use scores here, just from GR/MC now, so nothing really changes.

That site has never been dead, even the website shift didn't kill it and it's still more active than here by leaps and bounds. ANYWAY, the point is the old metagame applied and worked in a different time on the internet, things were different, things changed.
