Eat it every so often for more variety, since different fats have different vitamin and mineral ratios. Just cooking it with salt is more than enough. It goes into your body slowly due to fruits being high in FIBER. In fact, the most important part of a diet where you want to lose weight is FIBER, because it promotes the feeling of non-hunger. If you knew anything about food, you'd realize this. Also, calories in and calories out is LITERALLY the only thing necessary. Saying it doesn't work is like saying 1 + 1 doesn't equal 2.
