James Skywalker 528
What’s so interesting about a game that has two states? On and off. People with ADD turn switches from powered to unpowered really fast for lights, causing seizures. Edited January 27, 2019 by Angel Jim
lynux3 2,461
Too bad being interested in a platform doesn't equate to actually releasing and actively developing games on it. Which platform(s) are you *currently developing* games for? Xbox One / X 28% PlayStation 4 / Pro 31% Nintendo Switch 18% Which platform(s) do you anticipate your *next* game will be released on? Xbox One / X 29% PlayStation 4 / Pro 32% Nintendo Switch 22% Which platform(s) was your *last completed* game released on? Xbox One / X 20% PlayStation 4 / Pro 24% Nintendo Switch 9%
Remij 5,049
Thread is wrong. Conveniently leaving out the platform most devs are ACTUALLY interested in making games for

AAA third party games are still going to be absent on the platform.

The only differentiating factor I've seen is Mortal Kombat 11, and that's probably going to be a shit show. If I said to you "list 15 AA/AAA games on Switch not fostered by Nintendo" what would you come up with? Edited January 27, 2019 by DynamiteCop!

Goukosan 2,453
The real number too look at is making games and games that will appear on the platform. percentages went from 3% and 5% making games and which games will appear on the platform in 2017 to 18% making games and 22% will release games on it in the future. 2017 only three percent of polled developers were making games for the system, while five percent believed their game would show up 2019 Which platform(s) are you *currently developing* games for? Xbox One / X 28% PlayStation 4 / Pro 31% Nintendo Switch 18% Which platform(s) do you anticipate your *next* game will be released on? Xbox One / X 29% PlayStation 4 / Pro 32% Nintendo Switch 22% That's an increase in actual games being made. Switch hasn't even been on the Market for two years as yet.... when it launched in 2017 3rd party devs had zero confidence it would do well. Less than two years later confidence and actual developer activities are increasing. Big Games aren't made in a year.
