Recommended Posts

“We must support the PlayStation platform -- that is nonnegotiable,” Layden said. “That said, you will see in the future some titles coming out of my collection of studios which may need to lean into a wider installed base.”

As Layden says, the company still sees exclusives as crucial. And the Bloomberg story notes that Layden is talking about multiplayer games on PC. So also don’t expect to see the next Killzone on Xbox.

Switch 180,000

PS4 172,000

I love how the lemmings are trying to find ANY WAY OUT.

So they're now rushing to declare that Sony is no longer making exclusives. :tom:

You can actually feel their desperation. Holy shit, 30K???????????

That's lower than most Wii U monthly sales numbers.

I remember now. Jaffe said it on a podcast accidentally.

Switch 183k
PS4 173k
Xbox one 39k(!)

here's the podcast where he discusses it:

https://youtu.be/ebjRMlaydQY

by the way, David Jaffe is a developer in the industry. He was the creator of God of War back when he worked with Sony (independant now) so he has access to stuff like hardware numbers even when the NPD doesnt publish the numbers
