profitability over numbers sold. They are over 106m and the gen is ending so they don't really care much about getting more out there tbh. They'd rather make money while selling consoles then just sel

Just look at the amount of TRASH on this system in just over a couple weeks.

How many people voted in that poll?

Enough to show clearly that people prefer PS4/XO over Switch as a gaming console in 2019... your data points ain't refuting that :reg:

No.......the number is about 40,000

How much is 40,000 as a percentage of 6 million people who purchased Switch in North America?

Can you do that math?

That number of people who bought Switches... doesn't say anything about whether they prefer the Switch over PS4 as a gaming platform in 2019....

So that number IS MEANINGLESS :drake:

No, it definitely does say something.

In fact, since its TOTAL numbers, collected by NPD.....its saying everything.

Its not a SLICE of information........its ALL the information.

40,000 is two-thirds...............of one percent of 6 million.

0.67%

Congratulations.........you just lost this argument.

Please be stupid enough to argue against math........I'll have a field day with you.

Actually I do.

Which is why a volunteer opt-in web forum poll is LITERALLY Pew Research's definition of an illegitimate poll.

It's literally the best representation there is when asking what people prefer... :blessed:

Metacritic "good games list" and NPD sales numbers don't speak to that point WHATSOEVER.

Not ever B)

No.......its LITERALLY an unscientific method of polling that has no real scientific or mathematical merit.

That's not me speaking........that's Pew Research.........y'know, the people who invested the act of polling?

NPD does measure people caring. In the ultimate form.........actual money.

Let me know if your boss replaces your paycheck with..............web forum compliments. And see if that counts as a substitute. :drake:

There you go again, pretending that your data points mean that more people think Switch in 2019 was a better platform than PS4.

More people spent actual money on PS4 in 2019... that's a FACT.

You lose either way... and like I said... your "data points" don't actually mean what you're implying they mean.

Not. At. All B)

No, they mean they care about the console to buy it more.

The money stat is clouded by other PS4 revenue like existing PS+ subscription renewals, that have nothing to do with people buying consoles.

Thank you........you just abandoned your "people have spoken" argument, finally.

Next time, don't use an illegitimate web forum poll......that only has 0.67% of the amount of people compared to the sales of just one platform in real life.

That's pretty embarrassing to rely on 0.67% of people to make industry-wide proclamations. LOLOLOLOL

No... it means they care enough to buy it.  Not that they care about it more than another platform they own... Are you going to imply that more people in America own Switches than PS4s? LOL

Your attempt at trying to imply that people care more about Switch because they bought one in 2019 is so hilariously bad :kaz:

Which is the single biggest hurdle to joining a console platform and doing business with one of the major three platform-owners.

You're not gonna succeed in downplaying the SINGLE MOST important transaction when joining a platform.:drake:

The problem is... more people in 2019 have ALREADY DONE THAT FOR PS4....  Are you seriously that dense? :drake:

NPD numbers MEAN NOTHING about peoples care for a product vs another product they own.  If that product is priced cheaper and sells more, does that mean more people care about that product... or that the product finally became viable for them to purchase?

It certainly says NOTHING about how that person feels when comparing one platform they own to the next.

Not EVER :drake:

Congratulations on RE-establishing the very thing that has been said in the beginning.

Not to mention that Gouko said that Switch sold more in this single year than compared to any previous single year performance by the PS4, which re-establishes that people are caring about Switch at a faster, record-breaking rate than the PS4 in any given year.

Yes.......paying money to buy a product does some something about how a person feels, it says quite a bit, actually.

You're never going to win that argument......especially now that you abandoned your web forum poll.

You just now saying that it doesn't mean anything without evidence.

Not to mention that I can point to Nintendo having 7 of the Top 20 NPD games as further proof that people care about Nintendo specifically over any other video game company in any capacity. Hardware/Software/etc.

No.... it doesn't.  ALL it means is that more people bought Switches in 2019.

There's MORE PS4 owners in 2019 than there are Switch owners... so that NATURALLY MEANS more people care about PS4.

Taking that a step further... when you ask gamers outright which platform the care most about in 2019.... they overwhelmingly choose PS4.

You literally ARE this stupid :drake:

Congrats on just agreeing with Gouko's post from the very beginning. :blessed:

LOL, you are never getting out of this......and we can tell just by how much madder you are getting.
