The thing is most crime is "local". Whites kill whites near the same rates as Black on Black crime. It's mostly used as a way to duck out of other conversations.

This isn’t even close to being true, lol. 2600 cases of white people murdering each other in 2018, and 2600 cases of black people murdering each other.

Well.. 228 blacks were killed by police in 2018 (and in sure a majority were justified) compared with the 2600 black on black murders in 2018

This is also why police are more likely to use lethal force against black people. If you're confronting a portion of the population that the statistics show is more likely to be violent towards you or others, then naturally you're going to be more on edge than if you were to confront a white person or anyone from any other race. People always seem to chalk that up to racism, but thats really not the case.

 

This is an uncomfortable subject to talk about which is so many people try to avoid it, but its time to do something about the root problem instead of blaming police for everything.
